  1. Who in the hell wanted Robby over Moore??
  2. Denver would have given them what they gave for Russ easily IMO. I mean they hired their coach based on acquiring him.
  3. Yeah don’t want Watson. I would just feel weird cheering for him at this point as well. I’d rather gamble on a rookie.
  4. I just then Green Bay would have traded Rodgers if Love was showing any promise. Imagine the haul they would get to build around him. Instead they threw out stupid money to a 36 year old QB. It’s a bit of a red flag IMO.
  5. The value of QBs is absolutely crazy…. The draft seems to be the most logical route rather this year or next.
  6. I get people thinking 6 is a reach for one, but in the mid/late 20s after repairing some of our OL problems. That might be about right actually…
  7. So a team that would view him as a missing piece would probably own a late first like a Buffalo or San Fran. Say we get their first and a starting LB for CMC. Then we draft Cross at 6 and a QB like Howell/Willis/Corral with our later first. How would people feel about this? Especially if we grab a OG in FA. Potentially Cross, Norwell, Elf, Brown/BC, Moton with a young QB in waiting…
  8. I wonder what they do with Love now? (don’t want him here)
  9. Maybe McAdoo wants to run some 2 TE sets? Thomas Tremble?
  10. 6. Trading down would be ideal, but I don’t see any takers in this draft. Outside if that I’m good with either cheap FA or Willis.
  11. Yuck. Start Brown and bench NJ. Hell draft a OG in the 4th/5th and start him over MJ. BC, FA, Elf, Brown, Moton should be worst case scenario for our OL.
  12. Reason 56,123 why having a lame duck coach with roster control is a terrible idea…
  13. Yeah Bouye should be slot unless he gets cut/traded.
  14. I’m not sure BC will make a good guard in general. He could be a solid LT, but we didn’t get a good look last year. I really like Cross, but I’m not sure he could slide over to guard either. BC might just have to be depth unless he can play center.
  15. He is returning to Boston College this year.
  16. EJ Perry would be interesting as a late round pick. He transferred from Boston College to Brown and put up some good numbers. He looks like one of the more athletically gifted QBs in the draft and was pretty accurate in college.
  17. We have a good strategy of extending players, overpaying, and the trading them so we get the dead cap hit. Trust the process…
  18. Smith knows talent when he sees it. It we don’t get one of the big 3 LTs, I’d be good with trading down or Willis.
  19. I never knew it was actually HasselbEck until I just read this. Unfortunately I’ve been calling him HasselbAck until now…
  20. Hasselback with better mobility wouldn’t be a bad thing IMO.
  21. So Kenny was 67% his one good year. Willis was 61% and 64% the previous year with one of the worst OL performances in front of him. I’d be curious to see if he could raise it 5% with some actual protection like Kenny had…
  22. They took a raw talent from a small school with high upside very high in the draft because of the potential payoff. BTW McAdoo has said he thought Allen was the best prospect in that class. They gambled and it paid off. What makes everyone fine with Buffalo reaching on a prospect like that but freak out saying Willis will bust? I’m not even saying we need to take him, but he is worth an early gamble for a franchise for sure. You need to give Allen more credit. He has spent offseason after offseason perfecting his craft, putting in the time and becoming a more polished player. https://www.buffalobills.com/news/how-josh-allen-used-the-2021-offseason-to-make-these-improvements-in-his-game Some if it is where they land and some if it is the player working his ass off to get better every offseason.
  23. Steve Smith wants Willis in Carolina.
