  1. Would love it. We would just need to sign a CB (like Bouye) and another Safety as free agents.
  2. Just look at Fields stats, just over 70% completions with 22 TDs and 6 INTs in a shorten season for them. Year before over 67% completion with 41 TDs and 3 INTs. He is averaging over 9.3 yards a pass. So over 2/3s of the time he is going to throw a completion for a good chunk of yards. If that’s the first read than that is working out great! This is all not even looking at his rushing ability. If he is there at 8 we better be tripping over ourselves to turn in our card to select him.
  3. We are in no position to get Wilson so... Fields and Lance are our two best shots at a QB in the first.
  4. Athletic QBs never win it all? Pat Mahomes, Russ Wilson, Aaron Rodgers, Steve Young? Brady just happens to have won half of them the past couple decades... What exactly do you like about Georgia politics?
  5. I think Rhule had a lot of influence on our draft last year, hopefully he will again this year.
  6. Yeah I mean he could compete for the starting job in NO, DEN, and WFT (I think they are going to get Darnold). Honestly I could see him doing ok in NE to backup/compete with Cam.
  7. So we can use our 3rd to jump to 6/7 get our guy and trade Teddy for a 3rd? That would work out awesome, and save some cap space!
  8. Lawrence, Wilson, Mac, Pitts (Falcons seem to be high on him), Sewell/Chase Dolphins(not draft a QB)/Lions could be trade partners, but Slater, Fields, or Lance should be available at 8 regardless. IF the Niners get Fields and the Falcons trade their pick for someone to draft Lance we can look at Slater at LT.
  9. Problem solved! I think they might like Fromm over Allen though. Maybe we can trade for Allen? Allen didn’t beat out Fields in college though...
  10. Burrow constantly avoided pressure and seemed to be more athletic who loved to throw it deep. Not saying Mac will be bad, but he seems to be slower with less arm strength. Like a Burrow-Lite. Both seem to be film room guys who are constantly trying to get better.
  11. I heard Fields hates football and will quit once he makes his money... Spread the word!!
  12. Fields, Lance would be ideal. Sewell, Slater fill a huge need. Chase or Surtain are the best at their positions with CB being a bigger need, but Chase possibly being the better prospect. I have three tiers of which I can live with. 1. Fields/Lance 2. Sewell/Skater 3. Chase/Surtain With Lawrence, Wilson going 1 & 2 one if these players should be available. Worst case could be Chase, LT in the 2nd, and trade 3 for Darnold??
  13. Starting high for the haggle. He is ok, but gets hurts too often. If he can’t cut it with Kyle Shanahan I’m not really interested. I mean they traded away 3 first round picks to draft his replacement...
  14. Mills at the 3rd or later, Newman 4th/5th or none. Maybe trade a 3rd for Darnold. I would be ok with any of these options knowing we might be back in the hunt next year.
  15. I thought about that but Goff was also at Cali I know he is just meh... You could do Tennessee with Manning, NC State with Rivers, Miami Oh with Big Ben...
  16. So did LSU before Burrow, Texas Tech before Mahomes, Clemson before Watson, Wisconsin before Russ, Louisville before Jackson, Auburn before Cam......
  17. The only thing he and Haskins have in common is the school they played at.
  18. Sewell or Slater right? LT is one of our biggest needs and both of those players should be great.
  19. Both have a ton of potential. If our guy turns out to be a dud, and the other is great part of that would fall on our staff/coaches failing to develop the player. If we are lucky and get Fields/Lance we better grab a LT in the second round to help out our young QB.
  20. Much more? They are talking about Pitts going at 4? How was Ebron much higher than that?
  21. Pitts ran a 4.4 with a longer wingspan. Obviously he isn’t proven like the HoF WR Johnson in the NFL. When teams see his production with his measurements they see the potential to be a Calvin Johnson. Every pick can bust or be a let down, but he is one of the safer picks in the draft. Trask is ceiling is a notch below Cousins, his floor is out of the league in a few years.
  22. What makes him not like Calvin Johnson? Speed? Height? Weight? Catch radius? College production? Or is just because you see a TE beside his name instead of WR?
  23. Winslow, Davis, Olsen, Eifert (before injuries) were all great. Fant looks solid (needs a better QB). Ok now play your same game with Florida QBs in the NFL.
