The team feeds off the leadership of the quarterback. When the team sees the quarterback’s performance as inadequate as it was today it has to be demoralizing.

After today we may not win another game. Seriously.

Agree. Might be Morgan’s worst decision of the year.

It is not his fault the Panthers traded “the farm” for him. He is a game manager but with the right players around him this team can be successful. He will be here at least through next year regardless. It could have fell apart today with a patchwork O.L. and playing against one of the better teams in the NFL. Regardless, he has several game winning drives.

With Dalton starting we lose by 3 touchdowns. Regardless of differing opinions on Bryce the players respond to him.

I think you just described about 60% of the quarterbacks starting in the NFL today. We may never see another quarterback in Charlotte like Cam that could put the team on his back and will them to win.

These people do not watch enough of each team to be as knowledgable as they think they are. There are a few regulars on the huddle I would trust more.

He has not looked good. He missed a lot of throws to wide open receivers. I do not believe the Bills are a Super Bowl team.

I do not think Buffalo is a Super Bowl team as some predicted. Our offense put us in an early hole and kept making mistakes. The defense is not good enough or deep enough to compensate.

Not with me. Bryce will play out his contract next year anyway. The fact that I did not want Dalton back had nothing to do with Bryce.

That he was done was obvious in preseason in limited snaps but here we are.

Dalton is as mobile as a greyhound bus.

Jaycee can be. Multiple years playing at the level he is now and I will agree. Josh Norman was awesome.

Not a UNC fanboy here. Never. If Tom Brady was to suit up for the Panthers next week in his prime some would find fault. I will always think Howell was a casualty of the Ron Rivera housecleaning at Washington.

I really think Howell is underrated. I would prefer him over anyone that could possibly be available. I am not sure he got a fair shake in Washington.

I had much rather have Bryce than Dalton.

When folks start saying this is almost a sure win it scares me. I do not care that they have not won a game. They lost to Tampa Bay and Denver by 2 points. They would like nothing better than to beat the Panthers now that the Panthers are getting a little positive press.

As long as the same criteria is used for every quarterback in the league I am fine with his game winning drives. No one is going to overlook the W-L record the panthers have over the time Bryce has been here. The game winning drives are a credit to the players on the field, not just Bryce. If just one receiver had not made a crucial catch when targeted in the last 6 minutes of the game we would be having a different conversation this week.

I do not know how much the G.M.’s trust their college scouts and their opinions. However, I think it is worth noting that there has been some changes in our college scouting in the last two years. Sometimes that can be more important than we realize.

Panthers will not draft a quarterback this year unless it is in later rounds. Too many other positions of need.

In the past we lost to some terrible teams. Baby steps.
