  1. Apparently this is just a rumor randomly started on social media comment sections. Kid may be going through a tough time but no evidence whatsoever of any mental breakdowns or issues. Even if he had depression or anxiety, those affect more than 40% of adults 18-29 years old and should not be stigmatized.
  2. Thanks, I visited a few times but honestly didn't have a chance to read all the posts.
  3. I am as excited as anyone about the trade, but what are these concerns about his mental health or behavioral concerns that I keep seeing on Twitter? Any insights? I knew he was disgruntled but I didn't think he had any major character issues. I am hopeful that Fitterer and Rhule did their due dilligence.
  4. This. It's all about value. We're getting young players who are still on their rookie contracts at the ceiling that you could only pray for in a 2nd or 3rd rounder at those positions.
  5. Yes he even compared the Tremble pick with Chinn pick, someone who is very versatile.
  6. Rhule already said that Boye will be active against Cowboys. I think this is a depth play for what will be a touch secondary matchup on Sunday. Henderson may not be able to play and may need time to catch up on our scheme.
  7. This is robbery. While he doesn't completely replace Jaycee, our secondary is now much better. Arnold and a third is a great deal. I am also excited to see Tremble get Arnold's reps now. Also - keeping all those TEs on the roster suddenly makes a lot of sense.

    My god

Honestly, it's on Darnold to recognize the blitz may be coming and tell Chuba to stay and protect, while ensuring he has a hot route option. .
  9. It is early, and we must underline that. Okay, I will. It’s early. But the Sam Darnold experiment, through three weeks, both in what the eye can see and through the various analytical lenses of Pro Football Focus, is going well. September 2021 will be the second-best month of his pro career (he was 3-1 in November 2019 with the Jets, with a 107.5 rating), and with some soft defenses coming in October, Darnold just might keep this career renaissance going. What is better for him as a Panther than as a Jet (other than, of course, everything): • He’s taking better care of the ball. Last week, coach Matt Rhule told me to watch how they call plays late in games, putting the ball in Darnold’s hands instead of running it more (even with Christian McCaffrey out). “We trust him,” Rhule said. So far, through 12 quarters, Darnold has one interception and one lost fumble. PFF figures show his turnover-worthy plays—plays that should have resulted in turnovers—were at 4.1 percent in his three Jets’ seasons, and are at 2.5 percent so far this year. • He’s been protected better. You don’t think of the Panthers as having a formidable front line, but Darnold has been pressured on 32.5 percent of pass-drops. In his last two years with the Jets, he was pressured 42.0 percent of the snaps. • He’s making big plays. Another PFF metric is “big-time throws,” meaning passes that can result in big gains. Career average with Jets: 3.6 percent of his throws. Three-game average in Carolina: 5.3 percent. • Joe Brady’s helping. Nobody talks much about the effect of play-action on quarterback success, but the Carolina offensive coordinator is a firm believer. Darnold’s rate of play-action in his three Jet seasons: 25, 24, 21 percent. This year, it’s 30 percent in Carolina. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/09/27/fmia-week-3-nfl-sean-mcvay-tom-brady-new-england-peter-king/
  10. You don't think the Saints are legitimate? They dominated against Green Bay and New England!
  11. Teddy will regress back to the mean, wait until he has to orchestrate a comeback and throws a completion 5 yards short of the 1st down on 4th and 10
  12. Agreed. Rhule is more like Bellicick than Rivera in this regard
  13. I'm sure that will be one of the excuses that Aikman will use if we win
  14. Fields looked like hot garbage. Sacked 9 times and netted only 1 passing yard. I am so glad we dodged that bullet
  15. I know they’re overrated and should be 0-2 if the refs didn’t negate two Chargers TD on bs penalties.
  16. Worth a watch. Btw I didn’t realize we have the 31st pass blocking line. Welp!
  17. Starting corners are not unemployed or on practice squads
  18. Encouraging info, I'm hopeful no more than 3 - 4 games for CMC.
  19. I mean to say Daley. and Elflein played first two games and looked like crap. Keep splitting hairs.
  20. I actually think he's been better than TD this season, particularly in coverage.
  21. OL is our biggest weakness and will only get exposed more if they don't fix it. I am really hopeful that Brown and Christensen can develop quickly because Daley and Elflein have looked terrible.
