Bleacher report is garbage It's clearly an overreaction to first two days in camp, ignoring the fact that he's looked good since they went to pads early last week.
-
That's one 'swing and a miss' we couldn't afford.
-
Since moving to pads he seems to be doing really well especially in the redzone and 2 minute drills

Apparently Zach Wilson totally blew it on Saturday https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/08/08/zach-wilson-struggles-in-simulated-game-at-metlife-stadium/ Via Rich Cimini of ESPN.com, Wilson threw two interceptions and led the starting offense to only three points in seven possessions against the starting defense. He completed 11 of 24 passes for 112 yards. So what did Wilson think of his showing? “Not great,” Wilson said, via Cimini. “I have high expectations for myself and this offense. I have to lead the guys and I have to make better decisions. That’s why this isn’t game one. That’s why we’re doing this. I understand that. Of course I’m going to be frustrated with myself, but I’m going back to the film room and find out what I can learn.” First-year coach Robert Saleh had a better assessment of Wilson’s first practice without offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur just a few feet away. “There was no one to turn to for him to talk to,” Saleh said. “To have that experience, and to be able to go through it all, these moments are priceless for him. He had some good moments and, obviously, he had some rookie moments.” A crowd of nearly 20,000 at MetLife Stadium showed patience with Wilson. Via Cimini, there was no booing. “It’s all part of the process,” Wilson said. “We’re all learning. I’ve got to make better some decisions, but I know I can learn from all those. This is the reason we do this sort of thing.” The Jets’ future franchise quarterback has five weeks to learn what he can before the Jets player their first game that counts, against former Jets’ future franchise quarterback, Sam Darnold. Wilson won’t have to worry about the home crowd booing him then, either; he makes his NFL debut on the road at Carolina.

I am seriously getting worried about the OL. None of these projects are developing like we wanted it to in our wishful thoughts. But it's even worse when the coaching staff talked him up like he had the work ethic, desire and the tools to be a solid contributor. I hope the reporters ask some real questions about why they got it so wrong, from the offensive line coach who evaluated him, to Trent Scott vouching for him...

Can someone summarize how the camp went today?

Carolina Panthers are STILL interested in Deshaun Watson

I mean if he ends up on a clearance rack where it won’t cost me much if he ends up suspended or imprisoned, then yeah I would keep an eye on him too. -
That was my initial reaction

Dumpster fire

Hard to see but it didn't look malicious on that video. Hope Kirkwood will be OK.
-
YOu also don't want those first downs due to holding or interference penalties, right?
-
I guess he did call him out
-
He didn't call him out by name, but I think Rhule said after practice that they were holding too much on defense.
-
That's why I will always hate Gettleman
-
I will watch first 10 minutes
-
You're going to scrutinize every throw? Let him play preseason at least.
-
It's camp, chill out
-
Sounds like some of those picks are on receivers. Maybe they're not used to Darnold's zip on the throws.
-
I think Rhule proved he's the right coach by getting rid of Teddy instead of trying to convince himself he didn't make a mistake of signing him. I don't need my head coach to be perfect, but I need him to be accountable and make quick adjustments instead of throwing good money after bad which is what Rivera did for years with many players.
-
People on social media already doubting Darnold after one interception. It’s going to be a long season dealing with it. This fanbase has no patience unfortunately
-
True, but at least we don't have to be embarrassed about our QB having a noodle arm.

Do sophomore slumps really apply to coaches?

What does the Carolina Huddle and David Tepper have in common?

Locks in on the free beer too much, you need to work on going through your progressions. -
Not a Joe Judge fan but he's right for getting rid of this bum. Not only did he not lose weight as asked, he actually gained an additional 3 lbs.

Why is everyone so jaded? I would definitely be excited and thinking playoffs
