NAS replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
Great to see someone believing in what Rhule is building here. Playoffs in just the second season, I will take it! -

Prior to last year, Josh Allen looked like a bust, but he made a significant jump and was an MVP candidate. -

I think panicky footwork and decision making are directly related. If he can remain calm in the pocket and not panic, then his decision making will also improve. -

That was always my biggest concern with Cam and Rivera. Cam never showed a commitment to change until it was too late due to injuries and Rivera never had a commitment to help him get better because....it's Rivera. -

There will be moments this season where Darnold will have setbacks as he tries to move on from bad habits, just like we saw in the preseason game. However, one thing we can be sure of is that Rhule and Ryan will emphasize learning from each game and showing consistent improvement every week. -
My buddy is interviewing CMC tomorrow. Wants questions.

Does he see his dual threat role changing as a result of all the receiving weapons? -
Sign him to the PS, lol
-
I meant to reply to your post earlier. What numbers would convince you that he is the future?
-
Airing it out requires a solid offensive line. I just don't think Sam will have enough time to take full advantage of his receiving weapons. That is why I went with lower predictions than you.
-
Yes - make it happen Fitt, this can’t be the final 53
-
He’ll fit right in
-
I hope so, I am trying to temper my expectations for this year
-
I like the way you think. I feel like we still find a way to lose some games because we’re a young team
-
I think for me it’s good enough compared to where he was and a 65% completion percentage a 98 rating means he is very effective. Yes I assume we will run the ball a lot in the red zone.

Exactly! Everyone was calling McDermott and Beane geniuses for creating the Carolina Panthers North -
We keep talking about how everything depends on Darnold playing up to his potential. I would like to do some predictions and also define what SUCCESS looks like
-
Haha feel free to do both.

3700 yards 24 TDs 12 INTs 65% completion 98.5 passer rating 9-8 record How would you feel about our future with Sam Darnold going into next season?
