Yup, being a game manager doesn't mean can't ever make plays, it means they struggle to overcome stellar defenses and can't elevate the team around them to meet defensive challenges. Mahomes does it year in and year out. Please. I'm sure they'll address it between them, and you could tell after the game that Reid wasn't pleased, but it's not like Kelce went Kevin Greene (RIP) on him. There is absolutely zero chance that he gets sent off the Super Bowl field for anything short of physical assault. Reid has been coaching Kelce for 10 years now - they're basically family at this point.

Defintiely more talented on offense but on defense I think SF's names are perhaps bigger, but the Chiefs were just as good, if not even better, all season. Mahomes ultimately has the ability to overcome star defenses in many cases, while Purdy perhaps does not. Shanhan also shot the team in the foot yet again and gave away a winnable game. Overall comes down to Mahomes, with a weapon like Kelce, being able to elevate the overall offense and overcome the defensive challenge with the chips down vs SF's gassed defense.

Yup, how 'bout him and that Niners D.

Tons of fireworks going off here in KC. Love it.
-
Oh absolutely. I'm just talking about the rule and how they say they apply it.
-
Going to the ground is going to the ground. Dude wasn't staying on his feet after that catch. By the letter of the rule, it's not a catch.
-
	Apparently it somehow is.
-
	Yes. Niners are melting.
-
Yes, it should have been by the letter of the rule and application all year.

SF's defense is playing stellar football right now. Great defensive struggle overall, with SF winning the card so far.

That was Kelce complaining about coming out. Had nothing to do with Wilks.

Was just saying this exact thing to my son

Inject the good defense straight into my veins. Love it.

Proud of someone being on Twitter? You serious?

Good for him, I guess. Key ain't wrong though and winning in the future doesn't change the current state of things and doesn't have any impact on the accuracy of the joke.

HELP: Won the office football pool, need to pick the prizeKSpan replied to PanthersATL's topic in Carolina Panthers Really up to you since you already have a Sam Mills #51. I might lean Pep but Cam, Steve Smith, or TD are the obvious choices. If you want to go deeper a Moose, Gamble, Jenkins, Morgan (particularly applicable now), Beason, Gross, Minter, Rucker, Greene, Lathon, or even #25 Eric Davis would all be cool as well IMO.

Man, that is such an awful picture. Glad he started take his health seriously again.

Wish they had him busting his ass to shove Plummer out at the goal line the play before as well. https://m.facebook.com/NFLThrowback/videos/the-nfls-longest-plays-that-didnt-score/484332435495335/

In all seriousness many of us suspected that Rhule's power was greatly reduced following 2021 as a condition of him staying. There may be some shades of truth to him saying this even if just the overall control aspect, but anyone with a brain and awareness of why he may not have had control knows it doesn't reflect positively in any way. Dude just can't help but run his mouth.
