  1. Yeah, it is. I don't know where the Reddit guy got his information, I was just relaying it to try to help with the confusion. Here is what AI had to say on the subject. "The Carolina Panthers' tight end Tommy Tremble will begin the season on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list after undergoing successful back surgery last week. He is expected to be rehabbing at the start of training camp and is not expected to be a season-ending injury. There is no specific timeline for his return to game action." And here is an article I found. Just trying to help. https://www.wfmynews2.com/article/sports/panthers-te-tommy-tremble-undergoes-back-surgery-expected-to-miss-otas-and-minicamp-carolina-nfl/83-a432e6e0-bc21-48b9-b220-cef61ea8d38c
  2. Seems to be conflicting reports on this. Reddit guys says it has been updated and he is NOT going to be ready. Joe Person tweeted he is. Supposedly he is on PUP now. https://x.com/josephperson/status/1927422887029354962
  3. Pretty sure Reddit had a thread saying the opposite as well. I was skimming this thread trying to figure out what was going on.
  4. True, but coupled with the context of better than his previous team, that is better than just up.
  5. I feel this off season is just different in the amount of hype/hopium we are huffing. I love it. I am usually full of hope this time of year, but this feels special.
  6. He is also a player that has that "lock room cancer" tag. We don't see much of the full picture, but I try to stay far away from that type of player. He is historically not good at losing, and we tend to do that a good bit. Not a good fit in my opinion. I respect the skill, though.
  7. Not doubting the talent, but not for me, if it is my decision. We are planning for the future. Ramsey would not be a future decision.
  8. Yeah, but I also factor in we got a rich owner. If I were the guy in charge of hiring, I wouldn't mind spending Tepper's money if I felt we needed it at all. Makes me feel they weren't doing much. I don't see why we can't find a rockstar replacement, though.
  9. We were spoiled by the good Kalil for a long time, and we forgot how important a good and intelligent center can be.
  10. With as much of a crap shoot as the draft can be, it is pretty good for any round pick imo. Hopefully he is our center for the future and we can scratch that off the list.
  11. Odd they aren't even replacing them. They must have really felt they were doing nothing around there.
  12. They recently loosened the criteria for participation. I thought we would eventually HAVE to participate, which the NFL CAN force us to, but the pool of eligible teams refreshes faster than I thought. Let's hope our lack of popularity keeps us out.
  13. I feel like we are running out of time on dodging this bullet. It will be us within 5 years or less imo.
  14. Very true. Sports are also getting crazier than ever. I have seen full blown armored fights making a combat. Bonkers to me Medieval fights are a thing again. I don't watch it enough to know, but how has someone not died or been seriously injured?
  15. Definitely not a classy move. They deleted it, though. Maybe they realized that. Maybe they got a call from Tepp lol.
  16. Their viewership numbers are falling off. Young folks not embracing the game or their overpriced country club style sport, so they have to resort to this to get eyes. We may suck, but at least people care. Ha.
  17. When my dumbass saw this on my phone earlier, I thought Jordan Brand was some agent I didn't know about. In my defense, I was on the verge of heat stroke cutting trees. It hits different when Michael Jordan says you got game.
  18. I mean, I don't wanna do this to either of us, but you know Debbie Downer is 20 years old now? I feel like that reference is older than some posters. I was surprised myself.
  19. Debbie Downer. Some of us are old and make antiquated references.
  20. He definitely is going to get the opportunity, and I remember him doing well when thrust into the fire last year. Wasn't he the guy they said was doing good having the headset and getting the plays in? For what it is worth, he is working out in my Madden Franchise too, haha. He has the Superstar development trait.
  21. I was thinking it was per ticket and it would be randos going, but I speak poor. I see now it may be more geared towards rich and business folks, of which I am not. I will return back to my tar paper shack.
  22. Where did you get that number from? I think it is one game, 10k?
  23. Why move on now? As I understand it, all he is costing us is Tepper's money. Hope for the best.
  24. Let's be optimistic. It won't cost us a dime. Hopefully he makes a full recovery and becomes the player we expected and feels a sense of loyalty to Carolina for sticking with him and believing in him through the darkness. Maybe we get a loyalty discount on his resigning when he makes a Thomas Davis like comeback. Still rooting for you Brooks!
  25. He has fallen off a cliff from what I have read. I would have Shaq back over him right now.
