I feel this off season is just different in the amount of hype/hopium we are huffing. I love it. I am usually full of hope this time of year, but this feels special.

He is also a player that has that "lock room cancer" tag. We don't see much of the full picture, but I try to stay far away from that type of player. He is historically not good at losing, and we tend to do that a good bit. Not a good fit in my opinion. I respect the skill, though.

They recently loosened the criteria for participation. I thought we would eventually HAVE to participate, which the NFL CAN force us to, but the pool of eligible teams refreshes faster than I thought. Let's hope our lack of popularity keeps us out.

Let's be optimistic. It won't cost us a dime. Hopefully he makes a full recovery and becomes the player we expected and feels a sense of loyalty to Carolina for sticking with him and believing in him through the darkness.
