Because we were mostly relying on 4th liners and AHLers to score for us due to injuries... We also didn't do the little things like get traffic in front of the net, deflections, etc. while shooting breakaways and one-timers right into Bob's chest or glove. We were better than Florida, but we weren't beating Vegas with our injuries (not even sure we could if we were fully healthy). Vegas is built like us but is just a lot better than us at what we do. I'm not sure how they have stayed under the cap with all of the talented forwards they have, but good job by their front office.

In all fairness... Arguably the top five are Draisatl, McJesus, Matthews, Makar, and MacKinnon... So, 27 teams in the NHL don't have a top five player... We aren't in need of much, but we need better health luck and another scorer

You have to still give Bob credit though - he has played well in the playoffs. What hurt us is that we have nobody that's a pure scorer that was healthy. I don't know how many times we shot it right at his glove or his chest on a cross crease shot.... That and every game we had a 5 to 10 minute poo effort that Florida capitalized on

I think Vegas is superior at everything but goalie compared to Florida. Honestly, Vegas is a pretty annoying fan base to me, so I hope Florida wins I guess. I just hope for a sweep and the most boring Stanley cup final ever

There definitely is some injury concern with him - he's pretty much missed half the season the past 2 seasons. Getting ready to be on the wrong side of 30.

I think he goes to the Chiefs or the Ravens. I think he wants to win a super bowl now and we are still pretty far away from that.

I'm honestly surprised anybody even listens to that loser (PK). I figured he was completely irrelevant and just living under a rock somewhere, but I guess not. And honestly, it's pretty crazy he would say that when he had to be one of the whiniest defensemen I've seen in the 20ish years I've followed hockey. Then again, he may not have any braincells left because he got destroyed on hits a lot of times in his career.

I'd take Raanta over Freddie. Freddie has shown he can't stay healthy. If we can get Freddie for 1 or 2 years cheap, maybe.

This x100. This is like 4 years in a row some goon has knocked out one of our best players in a series (Boston x2, NYR, FL). How we haven't learned and gotten somebody to return the favor is just mind-boggling to me - this is even worse than not trading for a scorer at the deadline IMO.

I don't think many people are going to watch it period (no matter which of the 4 teams made it). No big name players, no big markets. This is definitely a year I would ask for a refund for any network broadcasters(TNT/ESPN) and advertisers that ponied up money to host or be aired during it because the viewership ratings are going to be really ugly. It sucks to be this close and lose, but it is what it is. If we win the Stanley Cup, awesome and I'll be cheering as loud as possible. If we lose, it just means I've freed up time from having to watch sports and actually do something productive.

Slavin has been great in the playoffs. I think several of our players have shown effort also (Marty, Fast, Mac, Jarvis). The problem is who is a go-to scorer on lines 2-4 outside of Necas (who disappears in the playoffs).

You do realize we have scored all of 3 goals in 3 1/3 games, right... I'm pretty sure I would call a 2 goal lead insurmountable for the product we have out there.

Good enough to make the playoffs, not good enough to beat anybody good. Rinse and repeat...

There is probably a better chance of Florida scoring on Bob than us. Again, when your team is composed of grinders and playmakers (courtesy of Svech and Patches being hurt), this is what you get - bad scoring slumps
