  1. Damn. Hate that for him right after welcoming a newborn into the world. Thought he had a shot here but hope he lands on his feet elsewhere.
  2. The “point guard” hype to sell us on Bryce Young last year was ridiculous and embarrassing. I am pulling for him to have a better season.
  3. Thank you so much for the update! Our prayers for you both that all goes well.
  4. My sights are set on Deonte Walker also. A freak of an athlete @ 6’6” 350 lbs - imagine him on our DL flanked by Brown and Robinson. It would be a nightmare for opposing OL and OC’s. He’s also got that ‘dawg’ mentality that Morgan and co are looking for from what I’ve read.
  5. Everytime I see this it makes me mad. We were absolutely robbed! Tremendous play though.
  6. I don’t think he ever fully recovered from that horrific injury he suffered in Boston. Which made signing him a real head scratcher but that’s MJ for you. Happy retirement, GH.
  7. I’d say the Burns’ fiasco. That bad decision had a domino effect and set us back. It also painted us into a corner when we had to trade him.
  8. Brooks is recovering from ACL surgery. We have enough RBs and placing him on inactive means we can take our time with recovery and development. Smart move by the staff.
  9. I like Wilks but passing up on him appears to be the right call. He’s had short stints everywhere he’s been which makes one wonder. And he was basically Ron Rivera 2.0. Canales represents a refreshing change from what we’ve seen so far.

  15. Can’t dispute that. But everything that goes down is not his fault. Wilson made a horrible decision and team acted quickly to quietly get ahead of it before it became a bigger problem.
  16. Right on. The freak out over Wilson’s dismissal and constant Tepper-bashing on this forum was downright ridiculous. Get a grip people!

  19. Considering the Panthers under Rhule and Wilks were content to run him into the ground as their offensive “strategy”, is it any wonder? Subpar QB play, a below average OL and one decent WR in DJ Moore pretty much guaranteed his career would be a short one if he stayed here and not much hope of things improving. But that’s JMO. We did the right thing allowing him to leave for greener pastures. You’re certainly not wrong just looking at it from a different perspective.
  20. We’ll have to agree to disagree on this one. He set several records here, made a couple of Pro Bowls and is only one of three players to post 2,000 all-purpose yards - 1,000 yards each rushing and receiving - in a single season (2019), so it wasn’t like he wasn’t productive with us. And I happen to have one his Panthers’ jerseys that’s been hanging in my closet for awhile also.
  21. Jones didn’t have the crapshow of a team that Bryce had as a rookie either. Nothing personal, but can we please move on from the Bryce-bashing and look ahead to next season?

  23. Can you blame him? I was happy for him when he left. He was going nowhere fast staying here. The problem I had with the trade was we should’ve gotten more from the 9ers but it is what it is.
