  1. So we give it to Sanders after he's gassed on the long run and not give it to Chuba who is our goal line back? You can't make this crap up!
  2. Missed Thielen. No anticipation throws WHAT SO EVER.
  3. His OL was elite, his WRs were elite and his flaws were masked because of such. If you look at his highlight videos at Bama, he has time to sit in the pocket all day and usually at least one of his elite weapons would make some Vanderbilt 2-star corner look silly. When you are WIDE @SS OPEN, the QB doesn't have to be pinpoint accurate, just in the neighborhood, and those elite WRs made those catches. Take home points--in the NFL: -WRs don't often dupe DBs to get wide open, busted coverages are rare -OL's, even good ones, can only buy you so much time -Tight window throws are M-A-N-D-A-T-R-Y to be effective -Got to be able to make ALL the throws--can't have a limited tool bag. This is why Bryce will never make it in the NFL, not as a effective starter.
  4. I'm not the biggest Justin Fields fan, but he would be a monster upgrade.
  5. Correct, 40% to be accurate. So even Brown's contribution to the playbook is garbage? I'm asking because I see several narratives backfiring here on the Huddle since Reich's firing.
  6. Just LOL! A whopping 3 completions for 29 yards. Franchise!!!
  7. Welcome to the party! Anyone else want to join? No invitations needed. Dude, I've been at this realization for WEEKS now.
  8. Yet we will pay Burns and probably let Brown walk.
  9. The Panthers are not concerned with his footwork apparently. Him flipping his hips just before releasing the ball is the biggest tell in the NFL He might as well hold up a sign in his other hand saying 'I'm passing now!'
  10. All the time in the world right there--the OL actually held up on 3rd down and he STILL checks it down.
  11. The commentators have even pointed out that Bryce is only throwing in-breaking routes and the reason the DBs are jumping all the routes. BuT oUr WrS aRe TrAsh!!!
  12. Tabor, Brown, Evero....it wouldn't matter because the main problem is at QB. Firing Frank was meant to take the heat off of Bryce, to buy him more time to develop and clearly that hasn't worked. Tepper is running out of excuses for the S2 wonder kid.
  13. LMAO!!!! Y'all fell for Tepper's scapegoat ploy. Suckers!!!!!
  14. Running into the kicker, though not called, and now a blocked kick. Our new HC is a STs dude. Too much on his plate?
  15. Dozed off before the game started and just woke up, I see I haven't missed much, lol.
  16. It's pouring rain and supposed to do so all day, so what else is there to do? It's sad when watching the Panthers is the last resort to being utterly bored.
  17. It will be a break year. His mechanics are so extremely flawed which will prevent him from being the QB we need him to be. In the mean time, unless a lot of top tier college QBs have a change of heart, we will be seeing a lot of talent pass us by this April. And many thought Stroud was the QB we missed out on. Heads will spin come the draft.
  18. Is Bryce the starter in 2024? Then no, I have no patience. The same with Fitterer if still here. I will only have hope if Bryce is given competition, REAL competition (he will lose) Fitterer is gone and Tepper hires a President of Football Operations and just flies in on Sundays to sit in his box. Outside of that, I may find a new hobby next fall.
  19. He's been healthy of late and being 'older' is actually a PLUS with me at the QB position now. You know who has struggled mightily or outright sucked in the League? Underclassmen QBs. OJT is to be done in college, not in the NFL. We can get weapons, but we need the right GM to make those calls. Not all of them have to come from this draft class, we can dip into FA as well.
  20. Why would it be? He can keep signing guards off the street, but couldn't anyone do that? Does he need to stay to shuffle around the practice squad and slots #51, #52 an d#53 on the regular roster? He either needs to go NOW or we are screwed. Scouting is in full swing for next year, especially for the draft and if Scott is not going to be here, that's putting the next GM behind the 8 ball.
  21. Can't say BPA and exclude QB especially if QB happens to be BPA. I agree that we need help everywhere and should simply zero in on any particular position.
  22. Penix is a lefty, so Ickey would be on his front side an Moton on his blindside. Without shuffling the cards, this could be a quick fix if only we can solidify the guard positions.
