We get to see Mayo boy today. Everyone knows he has an arm, but he fell to the 2nd round for a reason. Lets see if we can exploit some of those weaknesses. One of his scouting knocks was short-to-mid-range accuracy, but with a surprising touch on his deep ball. So if we play a shell coverage and keep everything in front of us, even with our depleted secondary, make Levis hit those intermediate windows. Focus on the rushing attack and force Levis to have to pass the ball, but don't get beat deep.

I didn't like the trade. We gave up too much, that was even before we drafted Bryce, so this isn't a hindsight 20/20 thing. This team had/has too many holes to give up that much PREMIUM draft capital. Fast forward, now we have a bust (in the making) AND lack all those premium picks. NEVER, EVER put all your eggs in one basket. There's a reason why these old sayings still ring true. This front office went all in on Bryce at the expense of the future health of the team/organization and it's looking like a major backfire probably taking at least two years to dig out from this hole no matter who the GM and HC are, current or other.

Statistically speaking, a 100% bust QB class is rare. So yes, Stroud looks like the one keeping last year's class from being one of those anomalies. However, you have bumper crops at positions each draft. Last year was slim pickings at QB. The 2024 QB class has more to chose from, quantity and quality, so it up to the teams to choose wisely.

Tepper will never admit he was the driving force behind Bryce. Fitterer, while not blameless, I feel was pressured to go with Bryce either directly or indirectly.

LOl, I was saying this a year ago. I was a lone voice in the wilderness though. Oh well, better to join the party late than never show up at all.

Right now as the standings go, we have picks #: 33, 65, 101, 142, 163 and 179. Both 5th rounders are trades and are independent of where we finish. The first one is with the Titans (who own our 7th rounder, so no pick that round) and the second is the 49ers. Our 5th, the top of the round, now belongs to the Browns. We have our own 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th. Of course, no first round pick.

The last week of the regular season for college football is upon us. As more and more top players opt out of Bowl games, the next few days are essentially a wrap. Any player information like videos, stats, write ups all can go here. Lets leave mock drafts out of this thread.

Sure some underclassmen will go back, but a LOT of these guys are seniors+. I've said all along that the DEPTH of this class is where the value is. This is the reason it's important for Fitterer--assuming he still here-- to wheel and deal for more draft picks. Let's not kid ourselves, this is a full blown rebuild. We need as much draft capital as possible. Hanging on to older, non-eilite pieces of this roster is just asinine. Nobody should be off the table for trade. I had zero illusions of getting Williams or Maye, that was even before the trade to #1 last spring. I didn't think we'd be this bad of a train wreck either.

There ya go, I helped you out. Descending order from 2021 to 2018. Dude never had the same starter in consecutive years and yet was a ~.500 coach or better up until 2022. Again, he was 3-3-1 when Irsay stepped in.

Just curious as to why you are focused just on the last year? Obviously he was fired for under performing, but being objective, shouldn't you look at his entire tenure as the Colts HC? I mean John Fox's last year here was a train wreck, the same with Ron Rivera, which would lead one to think these guys were horrible coaches. Each got us to a Super Bowl.

Indy was 3-3-1 when Irsay made Frank bench Matt Ryan in favor of Sam Ehlinger who promptly went 0-2 leading to Frank's dismissal. Again, you can't make a call as a owner, it backfire and then hand someone a pink slip. I mean you could if you are a) setting the HC up for failure because you want them to fail so you can immediately hire your drinking buddy or b) just an @sshole.

Yup, the Falcons moved on from Ryan because he was at the top of his game.

Yet get I called the 'every year' guy for some reason even though I wanted to punt this draft and want no part of the 2025 QB class. I honed in on this 2024 class and while we royally screwed the pooch on that, it's possible to get a decent guy in the 2nd or 3rd round. Will we? Not a snowball's chance in Hades. That's because we double down on stupid and never admit mistakes until it's too late.

This 2025 class?

I have and the bad is really bad and the good is that, just good. Nothing in the tape showed me why he's the #1 overall pick. I'm not saying nothing can be corrected, but it would be pointless to do it now. The offseason is when that would have to be addressed.

It actually should have been addressed at 'Bama. He's so far along with this habit it will be hard to correct. It would HAVE to be done in the offseason, but even then, the results may be disappointing. Remember, they tried to correct Cam's footwork and he tired it for a while before going back to what he was comfortable doing.

Serious question, if a rookie QB is struggling as is, would you go and change up everything that he's comfortable with? I mean, if he his performance looks this concerning doing the things he's in 'his zone' doing, could you imagine him having to think about not bouncing, proper drop backs, proper depths of his drop backs, correct feet alignment and getting set prior to identifying his targets? Dude would be sacked every passing down because his head would be swimming.

Staff changes, no, there shouldn't be any at this time. But Frank's going to be unemployed sticking with Bryce unless it's Tepper who refuses to let his Golden Child be benched.

D-none of the above. Fitterer should be shown the door first before tinkering with the coaching staff. It could be Tepper's way of saying, 'hey, I hear you fans and I am trying to fix it.' We have a structure that includes an assistant GM, so the position isn't vacant. Canning coaches midway though their first season accomplishes nothing other than showing other potential coaches down the road that this owner has zero patience and a hair trigger.

Ugh, the interior seems to be the major issue. I thought with Corbett back, things would solidify more inside. Something doesn't seem right though. How come Bozeman's pass pro grade is nearly identical to ickey's but the performance is much worse and Corbett's performance almost as bad, but graded significantly lower?
