Quite a few runs with the QB under center, this is from Johnathan Taylors big season. From the stats I can find his time in Indy was about 33% under center 66% shotgun......We are nowhere near close to that number under center and it is killing the team. Bryce cannot operate under center, period. IF im wrong he needs to prove it on the field.

Not if the boss made them do it.... Everyone knew drafting Bryce meant all pistol or shotgun formations. It basically eliminates over half of a nfl playbook. He barely took any snaps from under center in college. He cant execute 3 step or 5 step drops at all that I have seen. You have to have a very specific set of players for BY to work in the NFL and we are a long way off from that.

So does this mean he doesnt care? Does he want Bryce to take a season ending injury? Is he not allowed to say anything bad about the team? Its the only scheme Bryce can run, it is suited for him and the rest of the team is suffering.

The cards are also sitting at 1 win with games against the Falcons, Texans, Rams, Steelers, 49ers, Bears, Eagles, Seahawks. It is not a foregone conclusion that the bears get the #1 pick, but they have a pretty high chance of getting it.

We just faced a team that had given up 37, 39, and 38 points in their last 3 games and put up a whopping 13. These stats dont mean poo. I dont expect us to score more than 17 and that is being generous. If the D can keep the bears under that and BY doesnt gift them 12 points we can win.

We are damn near without our starting everything on D so it evens out. They probably can run the ball 35-40 times and beat us.

This is exactly how I felt pre=draft and I really had a hard time understanding how it wasnt between Stroud and Richardson. They both had higher upside and NFL quality measurables. BY was scared to compete against these guys at the combine for a reason. I didnt know how much influence the Teppers would have on the decision though...

Yea the only knock on him is he is old. It would be great if he was just our slot with a legit #1 WR on the outside. Thats why I didnt lump him in with the run away from the ball guys.

I am sure this will be the official story if they can get away with it. The guy will be taken care of for life under the table for being the fall guy.

It is only tailored to fit Bryce. This is where most of the problem is coming from. We cannot keep running this and taking 4-6 sacks with another 10 knockdowns every game. Our team is not built for this system outside of BY.

Our team is not built for BY, he would look good on a team like the dolphins as they are currently constructed. We need OTs suited for the scheme, kick icky into guard. We need a top tier WR and a handful of guys that can at least get open from time to time.

More excuses, our line looks like dogshit because they cant block for this scheme. IF we were able to line up under center and pound the rock with timely PA passes a lot of their woes would disappear.'
