Is it normal to request interviews with Front Office personnel on teams that are still in the playoffs? Certainly doesn’t seem right for coaches.

NONE of these folks are around anymore, including Fitt. Only thing left is “The Process” and “The Owner”. So by deduction, one or both of those is broken. What’s it gonna be?

Interesting that Josh Harris fires Rivera (HC/GM) and brings in TWO former GM’s (one with the NBA Warriors, one NFL) to hire a new President of Football Operations and also HC. Commanders This is the type of outside the box thinking I’m hoping for from an owner with the deepest of pockets (Tepper). Hire experts to identify the best candidates in both the front office and coaching. Harris is a new owner but it seems he’s figured it out. Don’t meddle.

It’s a meaningless stat, so nobody cares. But “technically” the way it’s being worded is inacurate. “Panthers become the first team in NFL history to go a full season without a fourth-quarter lead…” They led and won 2 games in the 4th quarter (with 0 seconds left). They didn’t run a play with the lead, that is also correct. I guess we’re famous for something.

Gotcha, that technically makes sense I guess. But the two walk-off field goals were in the 4th quarter so I’d still disagree with the fact (if it made any difference lol). We set a lotta records this year, that’s all that really matters.

I heard this today too, but please explain it. They had two wins and neither were in overtime…so they led and won both in the 4th, right?

Obviously my handle shows who I’m a Homer for, but a stop-gap veteran QB like Tyrod Taylor would probably be good for the Panthers the next 2 years. An upgrade from Dalton, fringe starter, can win you some games if he’s healthy…and no long term threat to your #1 overall. If not Tyrod, one of these starters playing lately like Minshew, Fitzpatrick, Brissette, etc. We have to be able to bench Bryce when it’s needed and still win games. Hell Mason Rudolph is winning games that matter.

Just heard Derrick Brown had 100 tackles, the most for any DT since 2000. Wow.

Three of which were fired mid-season, another few to be fired tomorrow, and the boss who just threw a drink at a fan. All of whom were proven very wrong. The experts in Charlotte lol. Yeah maybe we can see the problem now.

Tepper can make any staff member by far the highest paid in the league. His money, not ours. It’s the only way you can use extreme wealth as an advantage in the NFL. Can’t with the salary cap, but you can overpay for a GM and coach.

I hope this search team interviews GM/HC candidates together, like as package deals. Like the GM of the Lions and Ben Johnson looks good to me. Throw all the money in the world at the front office, scouting department, and coaching staffs.

Man, I forgot how big of a mess the Texans were a few years ago. If you want a sliver of hope, go back and read some articles about former Texans interim GM and then Executive Vice President Jack Easterby. Remember, the Texans at one point had D-Hop and Deshaun and were a mess on the field, in the news, and in the front office. Sound familiar? They got rid of Easterby and brought in current GM Nick Caserio in 2021 and now look at them. Caserio has said he’s not returning to his former team the Patriots, FWIW. So as big of a mess as the Panthers are right now, it can be done in short order.

Re-watch the Panthers Blueprint series on YouTube. Dan Morgan is in Fitt’s ear every step of the draft. And why is the owner sitting front and center asking about every move? Fitt is clearly a pawn. Jerry Jones is also a meddler but he does have 3 Super Bowls and 35 years of NFL executive experience. Tepper needs to let pros run the show.

“The team has a record of 31-67 since Tepper took over.” If winning is all that matters, this is beyond unacceptable (31% after 98 games) for an owner. He’d fire himself if he saw those numbers.

We essentially traded Christian McCaffery, DJ Moore, Jalen Carter, and this years’ first (Caleb Williams?) for… …Bryce Young, Johnathan Mingo, DJ Johnson, Chandler Zavala, and a 5th round pick. That GM has to be gone on Monday.

Re-watch “The Blueprint” episodes, it’s so horrible. I really want to know why Duce Staley and Josh McCown were fired the same day Frank Reich was. They were clearly locker room leaders and player favorites. There had to have been some sort of split with Tabor/Campen. The Blueprint
