Honestly, that was one of the better/more interesting games that they've had on TNF this year. Most of them, especially the early ones were absolutely miserable, and IIRC, had almost zero offense. All that being said, I also found it interesting that they elected to have absolutely no one at the post-game desk like they usually do. They showed like a 30 second interview with Foreman coming off the field after the game and then went into their usual "coming up this weekend" stuff. I've never seen that before, so it was clear they just wanted to be done with this game and move on. Also, I don't think this quote is real at all, even if that's how he felt... the internet has gotten carried away with these memes trying to go viral. I really don't find them funny anymore. And finally, I really wish Wilks and McAdoo would stop hamstringing the offense by limiting PJ this much. He can hit big throws, as he's demonstrated each game outside of the Bengals, you just have to scheme it up to make it about as surefire as you can. They also could do a lot more with PJ in the read option game - a lot more. They are really limiting the offense's potential.

Once again, the NFL have told us time and time again, "we're going to fug you, we don't like you, and there is nothing you can do about it." The NFL fuging hates us and they have it out for us. Period.

Confirmed: Al Holcomb is not good at his job
Proudiddy replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
I agree, but it had to be done because Rhule was just that bad. But my God, this is just inexcusable. I can't imagine us getting worse than this defensively next week, buy then again, we are the Panthers. Anything (bad) is possible. -
Man, I honestly have no idea what's happening anymore with this team. But, I can simply thank them for giving me my Sundays back for the first time in 27 years.
-
What is this? 3 weeks now since Rhule and Snow were fired? Each game seems to get worse defensively. We can't stop anyone and can't even slow them down. What happened in the first half today, I don't ever recall seeing that happen to a defense in our entire history. If they could've even played halfway worth a poo last week, we win that game easy, but it ended up being a seesaw battle because the defense is a fuging sieve. I love Wilks and appreciate him, but Holcomb ain't it as DC. I know the roster has holes and such, but it is still mostly intact from what Snow had to work with, and it looks 100 times worse. Maybe it's Holcomb trying to fit the college-style pieces we had for Snow's system into a pro-scheme, but this poo is way worse than anything Snow ran. This is just bad. Really bad.

McAdoodoo isn't even giving us a chance. This poo looks like Rhule snuck back in the building.
-
This looks like a Rhule coached team again. Third lined up in the neutral zone in the first half. Thanks to Piniero for not only fuging his own head up, but thanks for fuging the entire team's up too.

They're legit getting like 5 yards after contact and wrap up every play. We just didn't show up.
-
That loss last week, and the way in which we lost it completely killed our spirit. This is pathetic. We didnt even show up. They are just punching us in the mouth and we're taking it. Also, McAdoodoo's playcalling is back to being complete ass. He just brought in an extra tackle only to have him stand there and do absolute nothing, while having PJ throw it into zone coverage with only like 2 guys running routes. This poo is so remedial.

Rams Offering Two (Future) Firsts for Burns

fug them. They can keep that bullshit. -

Love Wilks, and clearly a much better man than me, because Eddy's ass would've gotten canned Sunday evening if I was coach.

DJ Moore should not have been penalized for helmet removal
Proudiddy replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
I was telling my friends this... I could've swore I've been seeing guys take their helmets off behind the back of the endzone for years now without penalty. Remember, especially during the lockdown when the stadiums were empty and they first put in those cameras back there? Guys were doing it all of the time... but then I convinced myself I must've not been remembering it right. But I was so sure of it, I had even thought this wasn't a rule anymore.... Oh well.... anyway, surprise! The NFL and officials screw us when it matters most and cause us to lose a game! I keep saying it, but if we play games close enough that we need the refs to call it fair, we're going to be severely disappointed, because they never will. We are the most hated team in the league by officials. Period. -
Facts.

We gonna talk about Jake Matthew’s’ false start?
Proudiddy replied to Panthercougar68's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yup, and yet, our drive before they pulled a page our of the Superbowl 50 officiating playbook and hit us with every fuging thing they could even when there was nothing there. The hold on Ickey was absolutely crazy - it was like a 3 yard slam. There was no time to even commit a fuging hold. And that went on the whole drive between that and and the constant ineligible man calls. Like I always say, if we keep it close and hope the refs call a fair game for us, we are going to be immensely disappointed... I've played and/or watched football for 28 years, and I don't ever recall a team getting seemingly picked on as much as we do by officials. -
I said the same about the trade. Despite his unique talents, he is still primarily a RB, snd eventually they fall off a cliff, they rarely ever continue producing at a high level into a third contract, and we honestly had lost how to use him properly under Rhule and McAdoodoo. And then there was the possibility that his body already is or will be breaking down soon, as most RBs do. So, it was best to get value and move on. I also said seeing him in Shanahan's offense was going good be insane, and it only took a little over a week to come to fruition. It's fun to see it, but it also hurts a little knowing what could've been. But I still think RB is just not a position to prioritize unless you feel it's the one big missing piece to get you over the hump - as Foreman has shown, RB production is also easily replaced, regardless of who they're replacing, even if it doesn't quite look the same. So yeah, a part of me misses seeing CMC at his best like this, but it was the best move for the long-term.

PJ Haters. Put some respect on his name.
Proudiddy replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
Nah, not from me. I never believed in Kyle Allen. Nor many if any of the other guys since Cam started breaking down. And I'm not even saying PJ is a starter or long term answer. I'm just saying I appreciate him and love the dog he has in him. And despite all of the odds he has overcome, and even the fact people are shitting on him for finding himself in this position, as an undrafted guy who was an afterthought is crazy. He still has a winning record as a starter. It reminds me a lot of Jake... also in how he has some mind-boggling negative plays and then comes back and does poo like that 70-yards-in-the-air bomb to DJ. If it isn't anything else, it's fun. -
No doubt, it is a tough job mentally, but it's literally the only thing they do, and rarely ever do you see a guy completely shank the chance to win a game twice in less than a quarter worth of a game.

I wasn't sure because I don't have my DVR anymore, but I thought it was a pretty deep throw... but that was what, damn near 65-70 yards in the air???? Ridiculous. -
