We were reportedly interested early. I wouldn't know what the hold up would be... if we can get him. I would feel a thousand times better about our line.

I liked him, but after we released him, I figured a guy like Nixon (who flashed early) or Hoskins could eventually be much better in the same role. That being said, it really bothers me that we just willy nilly released him on a whim because we wanted to create room for Watson when he hadn't even said he was coming here. Seems extremely impulsive, not well thought out, and short-sighted. Oh well, like I said, I don't think we'll miss him much.

But, the Raiders have the better setup and have all the hype right now coming off the Adams trade, and obviously a better chance to win and some stability.
