Where did you hear that CMC requested the trade?? They show an interview today w/ Greg Olsen on FOX and he said he was kinda shocked and thought he would be a Carolina Panther his entire career.

Stroud is slipping fast IMO… he’s got good size compared to Bryce Young, but man I’d take Young over him. I’m tempted to think Levis will be better in the NFL than Stroud too, I may eat my words here, but idk if I see that IT factor in Stroud.

I’d be much more enclined to trade DJ over Burns… Burns should basically be untouchable. Remember Super Bowl 50, and a name that starts with a V? Burns is our potential VM, you don’t trade him.

I’ve been back in NC for a wedding in Wrightsville Beach the last few days and ended up getting my friends’ season tickets for today! He has unbelievable seats too, right below Tepper’s box. Right after the last TD I looked up to Tepper and we gave each other a little air fist bump, kind of a cool moment… I guess I’m a big Tepper guy now;) I live in Colorado, so I don’t get to many games these days… took my Dad and we got to see the Black & Blue get a win over Tom Brady and the Succaneers… beautiful day at The Bank!! It felt like a totally different team/stadium today post-Rhule, (like an actual Panthers game!) you love to see it!!

That was the most disappointing press conference in the history of the Carolina Panthers. wow. How many bs excuses and he literally acted like he brought music to Charlotte, “Charlotte didn’t even have music before…” wtffff… and then acted like he’s been winning off the field because of the MLS team, goodness, embarrassing. He came in to be the owner of an NFL franchise, let’s talk about that. gs that was bad, he couldn’t handle actual questions that matter. What an Embarrassment. take a ******* lap David Tepper.

1-15 in 2001 was the lowest, that Chris Weinke era was rough…but we’re approaching that territory quickly. There have been some bad seasons in Panthers history; Weinke, Rodney Pete, Vinny Testeverde, David Carr, Sam Darnold… etc etc… In 2001, the Panthers won week 1 in Minnesota, rookie returner Steve Smith looked amazing in that game… here we go…. And went on to lose 15 straight games. That season netted them Peppers in the draft at least! The thing is, at least they had some hope then. Right now, there is zero hope. The owner has proven time and time again that he is incompetent running an NFL franchise. The coach is an absolute joke, at the very least Fitterer is not bad, although he did trade 3 draft picks away for Sam Darnold…but with all that being said, it’s hard to see this getting any better any time soon. It’ll come down to how Tepper handles the next coaching hire and what happens from there. If we end up with Sean Payton and CJ Stroud or Bryce Young then everything changes just like that:) it’s the NFL, so there’s always some hope of a quick turnaround ala 2001—>2003…

@4Cornerswe need to be friends… my first love was the Blue Jays too. Born in Toronto… but my family moved to Charlotte when I was a little kid. Blue Jays Maple Leafs Panthers Hornets I thought I was the only one…. ———————- when the Hornets moved, it upset me so much I became anti-Hornets. And of course they move and got (NC native) Chris Paul right away and then end up with Anthony Davis, the Charlotte Hornets haven’t been that fortunate since… the B*bcat years were tough to say the least. What do I know, but I honestly could see Tepper moving the Panthers some day. His ego just screams an owner that would move over a new stadium dispute. He has said before too that Charlotte is the perfect home for the Panthers “in Carolina”, to me that might mean it’s in the back of his mind that he could move them out of the Carolinas. He jumps ship on players faster than a Kardashian. He already bailed on the Rock Hill project. He’s just a lot of talk and in the end is a big ego’d billionaire with no NC-ties. Luckily Los Angeles has 2 teams now, there aren’t many places out there that would be better fit than Charlotte. St. Louis? San Antonio? Ehhh I just wish the NFL didn’t give the Panthers to Tepper to begin with. He’s a joke… and unfortunately I see the Panthers becoming a perennial chump under his reign. If the Panthers were to move one day (which I would absolutely hate) , I’d just throw all of my allegiances back to the Buffalo Bills like it was before the Panthers came to be in 1995. But I hate this conversation!!! if you’re reading this Tepp, just fire Rhule … throw all the cash at Sean Payton and draft one of those top QBs next draft. And then your chump status will be lifted! I hope for the best but damn it’s bad right now.

Ideally Sean Payton or Mike Tomlin CJ Stroud (wouldn’t mind Bryce Young either, I just like Stroud’s size, arm strength and accuracy more) I don’t mind Fitterer …but they screwed up when they let Beane go to Buffalo.
