I love Thursday night football. It really feeds my itch to watch some NFL instead of waiting for Sunday. With that said I think he is 100% correct, and I think it would take minimum effort to put together a schedule where teams who play Thursday are both coming off a bye and don’t play the following Sunday. They may have to adjust and add a week or two, start earlier, go back to 16 games, or take away another of their money hungry worthless preseason games to make it work but it can be done.

In reference to the big contracts at years’ end, if we were to a sign them all how much do you think they’ll cost/count against the cap? Shaq restructure incoming? Or we rollin with paying him 19 mil/yr or whatever it is for the rest of his contract/he’s cut? I know the Panthers have a bit of cap room but Moore and Sam are right around the corner (2023). Who knows if they or the Panthers might want to do something beforehand. Plus, need an oline which won’t be cheap.

The man is a beast but I am extremely hesitant on big men and injuries. Especially being 30+. They just don’t heal. It’s why the Broncos let Paradis go and for some reason the Panthers gave him a really stupid amount of money. He’s has said himself last year his injury stiff affects his play. Would much rather the Panthers due their due dillgence and find that olineman they know will work out in the draft and trade around to make it happen. Or…if one so happens to come up in FA. Just need one stud olineman and a decent safety or LB next year will do wonders for future the team assuming either Christian or Brown turn out average.

I think the schedule gives the Panthers a chance at playoffs. Not sure they would have one otherwise. The Panthers really struggle vs. solid teams. But that defense is good enough to be in, however there is no way the oline will allow deep playoffs, the Dallas game is a good example of what would happen after the WC rounds. Holes are getting fewer and fewer though, very bright future.

That’s why I referenced mainly to watching them. Feel free to watch them as well. When they need to block for a while they can, and do. And just for shits, last year TB had a top 5 release time (400+ attempts) and still a below average ranked oline…lol The team decided to address that by overpaying for two washed up, injured poo olineman and drafting a ‘second round graded’ guard and sitting him on the bench because we don’t want to maybe be worse than 28th ranked oline in the league by throwing rookies out there.

Good grief…the god awful Falcons have 15 more att. and two categories close to average. The Panthers fail miserably on all accounts. Watching the Bucs line that sounds right, they’re beasts. I can only imagine there are only 2-3 teams worse than this. So far, I’m pretty sure this is the worst oline in Panthers’ history.

Jake totally lost that Cardinal game and that was sad. But putting a Captain Munnerlyn 1/1 on a prime Larry Fitzgerald was comical…and then continuing to do so after the half (after I had accepted the loss) seriously made laugh until I cried. Like how kind numbingly stupid can you be. The oline won’t be built in one draft. It takes time. That is why it’s so surprising we haven’t seemed to have started the process yet. Might want to see what we have in Christianson and Brown while there is nothing to lose or I feel this is going to be an even slower process.

Did we even adjust at all in halftime? Or did we even plan on Dallas adjusting? I know sure as hell Dallas did. Seemed like Dallas switched up everything while we continued to line up and do more of the same. I’m not sure what the coaches expected doing that.

Seriously, how many times do they need to be warned? They got very lucky this time it wasn’t more serious. Hell, they got lucky cmc is back to himself from being injured after getting abused last season as well. Look at Barkley. Injuries are going to happen and I know our oline is straight trash but I think it’s really fuging lazy to gameplan so much (40 carries) with one player, especially considering you have other playmakers that we all saw Sunday, but didn’t see as much with CMC, who can come in and make a difference. Get fuging creative already. All that said, CMC only needed a week to rest? That seems suspicious. I hope the ones in charge are ignoring CMC who is probably itching to get back out there and making sure he’s 100%. He can complain all he wants but I’d rather sit his ass until he’s fully ready and then some.
