Easily replaceable and nothing special. I’m fact with the oline being about top 10, I expected more. Still young but he’ll be fighting for that 3rd/extra spot on a roster.

We should sign Adrian Peterson as a backup

Jim Brown would be a perfect fit, bring the FB back baby! oh wait -
Wow all these ‘expert analysts’ and NFL players obviously don’t read the huddle where the Panthers are easily SB contenders.

Good Morning FootBall: Who do you like most in the NFC South
onmyown replied to jayboogieman's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yes. Believe it or not this isn’t Madden. Even the all time greats needed time, around a couple years, to become good then great. Young is no exception. And expecting him to be better than a vet who made the pro bowl just last year is borderline moronic and frankly is a casual fan take. People need to relax and realize this. Prepare to see a bunch of ‘start dalton1!’, Fire Fit and Reich!!, ‘shoulda kept Wilks!!!’ dumbassery from those who don’t understand this. Carr’s last ‘washed up’ five years. Can we please be realistic and not embarrassing homers and say he may need a bit of learning to get this this level or above?: Year Team YDS TD INT Rating 2022 LV 3,522 24 14 86.3 2021 LV 4,804 23 14 94.0 2020 LV 4,103 27 9 101.4 2019 LV 4,054 21 8 100.8 2018 LV 4,049 19 10 93.9 -
Good Morning FootBall: Who do you like most in the NFC South

I think Carr will be better than Young for a couple of years at the very least unless we’re about to shatter some crazy rookie qb/first year head coach records and defy history. I personally don’t think we anre that special one out of thousands of teams in history. Appears some here think we are that special. Gives me a Tepper/Rhule vibe. Siants for me are the easy pick. Falcons will be playing old school and I wouldn’t be surprised if they are going to be competing with the Panthers for the #2 spot and then perhaps even beyond especially with that healthy cap once they find a QB, even an average vet. Bucs have catching up to do. Saints for now. Falcons or Panthers are the future depending. -
Bottom line is this - CMC gets doubted for his 1k/1k because defenses played soft playing vs. a shitty team (ala Panthers) yet Moore is an annual ‘1k yard’ receiver? Heh, to the outside world. Anyone who watches games knows that these yards come from when we are down multiple scores, period. Ergo we know that in the red zone, Moore is worthless. So, that’s not a #1. It just isn’t. He can’t score or get open because no one is playing him soft. Again he isn’t completely useless by any means but if any Bears fans think he will be a difference maker, they’re sorely mistaken. And if any Panther fan thinks differently they’re casual and/or haven’t been paying attention. I expect Moore to get around 800 yards and 5 TDs this season.

Doubtful. DJ ain’t bailing Fields out of bad situations, he’s not that receiver. And he damn sure isn’t going to fight for the ball or have YAC. Now if the opposing teams starts playing soft due to being up a couple scores, except big numbers from Moore with a couple/few clutch catches sprinkled in before disappearing, especially when you have to get open in tough situations, you know like in the end zone, where Moore can’t get open to save his life. Of course that’s if there isn’t an average+ corner on the opposing team who can shut DJ down. Shall I continue with his blocking and giving up on routes? Y’all seriously overrate this guy. He’s not worthless but he’s not a #1, or close to it either.

Wow you guys really think it’s for all this stuff it isn’t? What this is about is pretty clear. A competent staff, FO and organization culture. Pretty clear. Winning franchise from a losing one. The panthers don’t have that yet and no need to pretend they do. CMC left a poo franchise for a good one. Until otherwise that’s how it is. The work is there for Tepper an co. Hopefully this doesn’t become a place where players want out of if they want to win. Time will tell.

why do our DBs seem to be injured so much is my question
-
guys…has a first year coach and rookie qb ever won a division? Let alone go on a deep playoff run like so many here suggest? Like ever? I can’t think of a time. why do we need ‘haters, doubters, disrespect? must be a generation thing and it’s weird tbh, I was always taught respect is earned when I played ball objectively speaking the Saints should have this division pretty easily. For now. The panthers will have their turn but be realistic. It’s in a couple years

If the Aints didn't want Dalton, why Should we ?
onmyown replied to Day1PanthersFan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Bc he is a mentoring qb, he knows the game and defenses and simply isn’t talented enough to take advantage very similar to wienke Also he is a spy from the saints My assumption is he was signed as such and trading for 1 overall was known very early on im def ok with it and def drunk but new qbs need a vet not Pj sitting vegans them…ala Anderson/cam -
Wow! I know people are homers around here but I think defying NFL history and smashing odds going on a deep playoff run with a brand new coach and rookie QB is bordering on delusional. Something tells me these may also be the start dalton/fire Reich/fire everyone thread starters we will surely see when this obviously doesn’t happen.

falling on your ass? i could feel a snapped a achilles tendon and years of recovery just watching that damn I’m old -
Good value seats imo and those are home side…though not the side that gets shade first, should be by around halftime I believe
-
Upper level row 1 is pretty good imo… even better if you’re in the shade most the game..assuming that’s a 1pm game the shade is mostly on the home side in fact the only search I like more are higher row clubs in the shade 24/7…but any club is decent but all expensive the closer lower levels are neck benders IME, upper level row 1 is literally the best value for view in the stadium imo the absolute best in the entire stadium, again imo, is the WC row upper level right over the rails. Course they’re for the handicap. My buddy is in a wheel chair and brought me once they were awesome.

actually did a good job for Tennessee
-
Lol…Young will 100% start the season
-
huddle off season full on delusion mode activated…commencing insecure criticism for winning teams
-
Meh…the NFCS is a poo show and yes the first franchise to pull it’s head out of it’s ass or recover will probably have a nice run. that said, I really don’t care. I’d like to see a team that can compete with any NFL team or at least the rest of the NFC vs. three other (awful) teams… tired of seeing the panthers look like a pee wee team vs. legit teams…like say oh I don’t know the atrocious Bengal game last year. like that’s a perfect example of how far off the panthers are from a championship caliber team.
-
this thread is comical to me bc at the beginning of last year when everyone said the same thing and I was like lol nah y’all are fuging dumb I racked up the poo huddle gonna huddle

I sold last June after a little over two years of ownership. We had 4.2% on a zero cash down, first homebuyers loan. Made $220,000 and am going to move to a more affordable area, wait for whatever dip is about to happen in a year or two and then basically own the same ‘priced’ house after ridiculously low payments over 15 years instead of much higher ones over 30. Granted I don’t have kids but I’d be absolutely stupid to turn down that profit knowing full well this area is not where I want to settle long term. People are doing this all over, migrating, not upgrading. I’d be screwed staying here, it’s already hard to protect my profits in this climate. My realtor told me the reason you made this much will be the reason you’ll quickly lose it and he wasn’t joking. Rent is insane. I’ve put it all in wealth-front and making 1k a month just on interest which is helping but I have to get away from the mountains/west, it’s just stupid expensive.

Panthers have one of NFL's most 'obsessive' fanbases
onmyown replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
Disagree. Raleigh isn’t used to teams that are god awful, perennial losers. That’s the difference. If you have ever been to a Panthers or Hornets playoff game back in the day, you’d know full well what Charlotte is capable of. But when you average 5/6 wins over half a decade, or worse, you’ll see the lull. Not to mention never having back to back winning seasons. I’m almost 30 years. That’s insane. Zero momentum. Anyone who got interest lost it. It’s simple really, this franchise needs real success. You want people to spend $250+ to sit in the hot sun and get loud in a stadium they paid for, more than 7 winning seasons sprinkled in 27 years might help. -
Person: Tepper indicates he's learning and changing his approach
onmyown replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
I could go on a rant about his dumbassery but truth be told it’s his ego that needs to be checked and what I’m concerned about. Why does he need to be a hands on owner? Why does he need to be involved? Why can’t he just let football guys make moves they’re more qualified to? The answer is Tepper wants credit. He wants a pat on the back. It’s why he had to learn the hard way because he needed to learn lessons other owners already knew, so that in the end he could have the satisfaction. Ego. At the expense of fans. This is his toy. And it will kill a franchise. The people who get ahead are ones who can learn from others’ mistakes. It worries me because we aren’t banking on professionals or football people building a program. We are banking on Tepper making the right moves, and he is not qualified. Hopefully over time his grip will loosen and he will learn not to be so meddling. It’s exactly how San Fran found success.
