  1. Tried to temper peoples expectations…Gilmore and Reddick alone will be half that, at least even with favorable structuring. They will have to be paid, this isn’t a winning team anyone wants to be on. You’re essentially looking at the exact same team in 2022. Now 2023 gets very interesting.
  2. meanwhile the saints will cut their water boy and somehow free up 100+ mil
  3. Man…the huddle hates Rhule but has the same dumb minset trying to win any meaningless game they can at all costs and resources with the skill level of maxing out at 7/8 wins. NO. You guys really need to face facts here. The failing constantly is due to the above. Bringing in the wrong people, wrong moves and trying to take short cuts are cheat codes. It’s failing. We all see cam’s face being beaten to hell for a couple games, how with this work 17 games? Cam is not winning 11 games and then continue to ball out in the playoffs lol. But he can, he just needs the coaches, oline, defense, weapons and refs to be fantastic! poo happens, poo isn’t perfect, this ain’t going to happen. Rhule traded our poo for Darnold. They all wanted Darnold. Let him fail with Darnold and ban him from trading anything else in the future. He chose his path, this is how he will fizzle out of the NFL.
  4. “And those inside the organization believe the 46-year-old will return in 2022, according to Joe Person of The Athletic.” Is what the article is based on. Course I can’t read it because I don’t pay for the Atheltic.
  5. So does sam, he’s already paid, and it leaves more cap for others and reasonably provides a slightly higher draft pick. On top of it all, you let Rhule live or more likely, die by his own sword. Sorry but there are zero reasons to sign Cam. Just digging the hole deeper with more cap and another stupid contract, delaying a much needed true rebuild. And yea Robbie is a dumbass leading the league in drops, who cares what he says.
  6. Only reason would be 1. He takes a cheap one year deal and 2. Understands he’s basically a lame duck until a rookie is ready and 3. A rookie comes in at some point. He isn’t the future and don’t see him winning a championship unless the entire team and coaching are above average. Need more for a rebuild.
  7. who cares? it’s a loss no matter which turd Rhule puts at qb let him run his circus before being fired and no one is trading for Darnold, he needs to be our lame duck next year anyways
  8. That’s just how it is. Rookie QBs historically look bad some don’t even play and ride bench year 1. Recently for example…Allen, Murray, Mahomes, even Rodgers sat forever…Burrow and Jackson were underwhelming year one, everyone expects a Wilson like entrance that happens like once every 3-4 years. It’s VERY VERY rare a rookie comes in a right away and lights it up. Especially because most go to poo teams. That means a lot, it’s no coincidence the rookie qb doing the best, also went last of the top 5 qbs, to the better team than any of them. At least one if not two, maybe three of the top four qbs other than Mac (who will probably always be good, not great in the future) are going to turn out good to great.
  9. Only thing I see him fuging up at this point is keeping Hurney too long. He just lets his football people make moves which I like. Problem is they’re the wrong people and he needs to address that or realize he needs to hire someone to do it. If he hires people to hire people and gets rid of Rhule after the season, I’m still on board. If he keeps him…he will lose major points.
  10. Dear Mr. Tepper, 5/17 is worse than 5/16, that analytic is called regression Signed, first-grade math
  11. Nah. Nagy has a 12-4, 8-8, 8-8 record with the Bears. And yes a poo year this year. But up until now he has been an average coach. And still, at this moment, has won more games than lost as NFL HC. Yes, he’s done as a HC but Rhule couldn’t hold his jockstrap…as sad as that is.
  12. I know business people don’t care but damn…trying to get tax and PSL dollars with the correct product? How do you even pitch that to fans.
  13. With quality coaching, they need to build the oline and draft a QB really. Easier said than done but there is t a long check list and coaching is at the top so that in of itself should give us .500. And yes, some pieces here and there and no I’m not talking SB I’m just talking playoffs but that’s where it all starts.
  14. Rhule is to blame for not giving Cam, or ANY QB a chance to succeed. That said, they’ve all been trash and are not the answer, so yea he didn’t ruing the QB, just the circumstance. Lord help us if he is allowed to get his hands on a rookie with actual potential. Then he’d have his shot to ruin his chances AND the development of a QB. Just another reason Rhule needs to be gone because poo won’t happen until they draft a QB this or next year.
  15. Isn’t it sad when posters labeled as ‘doom and gloomers’ always seem to be right.
  16. Yes he is. All around. Not just with Cam. but so is Rodgers. Belicheck has been called out by former players numerous times. I can remember plenty of time coaches like Carroll and Harbaugh made similar comments calling out players. But the production, that’s what matters, not emotional outrage from stans. Absolutely no one was outraged when he was doing the same poo pre cam. What does that tell you?
  17. You guys get mad over dumb poo. He says he needs to watch tape and he’s made fun of. Blames cam and you’re butthurt. Watches tape and corrects himself and stans still butthurt. Try to compare cam to sam but the same poo was going on with Sam including being benched. This ineptness isn’t all about cam good grief. This is why so many find stabs annoying. Fact is there isn’t enough credit given to the real reason he should be fired and that’s because he’s a shitty coach who can’t win or progress, his methods suck. The fact he stupidly calls out players is just the details and cherry on top of being a shitty coach.
  18. Problem is Cam is likely going to want money and 2+ years. I see no reason to do that when sam is already paid, because neither is good enough to matter. Resources should be saved at this point, they’ve been given away too freely for the past two years - this will just dig the hole deeper, for nothing. It’s painfully obvious the qb of the future needs to be drafted so at some point they’ll start anyways. If Cam goes for it, a cheap one year deal is feasible.
  19. I don’t think “I don’t want to put it on one guy BUT…” means what you think it means. try harder.
  20. Not really. He’s roasting both players and deflecting responsibility from himself. I don’t know why you can’t see that and claim you see nothing without even searching. Have you seen what else he’s actually said in the pressers or interviews? He constantly blames players. No, because you didn’t look. You just want to regurgitate some BS that isn’t true. Oddly nothing Rhule ever said about Sam will prove it to you so continue on your insecure rampage. The proof is there is you want to see it.
  21. A simple google search, clearly you didn’t look. https://thespun.com/nfl/nfc-south/carolina-panthers/matt-rhule-blunt-postgame-message-sam-darnold-interceptions/amp PLENTY more like it. Stop being bias.
  22. Go back and watch pressers, it’s not that hard. You all think there is some difference but there isn’t, you’re showing your bias insecurities. The proof is in the pressers/interviews. Go and watch yourself, Rhule is a shitty coach because he’s always blaming the players - this is not some new concept miraculously showing it’s head now, it’s something he has done from day 1.
  23. Yes. Constantly. Go back and watch. Ironically, the issue is him.
