Wonder if McCarthy gets fired if they lose this game.
-
Can't wait til we trade 2 1st round picks for Jimmy G after this lol
-
A lot of the great QBs of the past were knocked out of the game well before their 40's. Brady hasn't had to play through the same type of game.

I dont know that I've ever rooted for the Eagles, but I love Jalen Hurts. Was hoping we could take him before the Eagles drafted him so early. Hope they get the win today.

I really expected that game to be close. The Bills must have really been humiliated by that earlier loss to the Patriots. That plus the Patriots peaked during the middle of the season

I thought that long pass was gonna be pick number 3.
-
That's probably the game.

This HC Rhule guy is just downright embarrassing
PNW_PantherMan replied to saX man's topic in Carolina Panthers
Lions sticking with Matt Patricia feels similar. -
Looks like I was wrong about New England. Bills are rolling.

This referee crew is a mess.

I'll take the Bengals and Patriots.

The Cowboys bit is interesting. Maybe Jerry Jones is afraid of losing Kellen Moore, so he wants an excuse to promote him to HC.

Not really a true statement. He made the wrong call on declining a penalty. They still punted on 4th down. It was dumb, but lets not make it something it wasn't.

In a vacuum, Cam is better than Darnold in that situation. I only say probably, because if we're talking about it in context, Cam would have been subbed in for that particular play. That alone kind of alerts the defense that something is up. And maybe there's an element of surprise with Darnold taking the snap himself, since you wouldn't expect him to do that. But in the context of Rhule's stupid response to the decision, no they aren't really equal in their capability to run the ball in the red zone.

Reddick or Burns, who you keeping? Why?
PNW_PantherMan replied to BurnNChinn's topic in Carolina Panthers
Reddick and Burns are both good edge rushers, but they are pretty one dimensional. I would let Reddick walk and probably try to trade Burns while he's still a great value. I don't think Burns is a bad player or anything, but we will have to pay him soon and I'm not sold on our defensive front 7 build as a whole right now. -
I hate to be that guy, but that chart stops at 2014. We all know Cam was an elite player in his prime. That said, 2021 Cam is probably still better in that situation than Darnold

Thats part of why I wouldn't be shocked if Rhule takes some college job halfway through the season next year.

how college HC jobs are rapidly changing
PNW_PantherMan replied to BlitzMonster's topic in Carolina Panthers
The transfer portal definitely makes college less interesting to me. I like the school choice having some weight behind it. Having to sit out a year made changing schools a major commitment. -
I agree and I also think his massive endorsement of Rhule weighs on that too. When he said he's our Chuck Noll.

Rhule set to appear on WFNZ Thursday morning
PNW_PantherMan replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
The logic for taking Brown was there. It just doesn't look great with the benefit of hindsight. If he was a dominant force inside, people wouldn't be saying we should have taken a tackle. He could still turn it around next year, but I think it's just one of those unfortunate cases where you take a guy in the 1st and he's just average. -
Rhule set to appear on WFNZ Thursday morning

He played tackle all year and got a 83.7 overall PFF grade for the season. What? -
Multiple analysts ridiculing Rhule's comments

And to think Tepper didn't want to embarrass himself by firing this clown after 2 seasons. -
Jim Irsay Speaks about their team's disappointing season
PNW_PantherMan replied to Ricky Spanish's topic in Carolina Panthers
Jim Irsay is a bit nuts, but he's a huge fan of his own team.
