  1. At the end of the day, money spent positionally will not be close to equal. Every team has players that are overpaid and players that are underpaid. It's about results at the end of the day. Do you win or not?
  2. That measures the result of the play, not how difficult the pass was. You can't draw much information from that other than the passer rating was lower when thrown to XL.
  3. A post so nice, he made it twice.
  4. Yea lets see here. When have I thought we were a WR factory? We have 1999 with the triple threat of Muhsin Muhammad, one hit wonder Patrick Jeffers, and the up and coming Donald Hayes. Jeffers career ended because of an injury and Hayes never panned out. Then you have 2003 with Muhsin Muhammad, Steve Smith, and Ricky Proehl. By 2005, we didn't have anyone besides Steve that could catch the ball. That's like twice in our entire history.
  5. Certainly hasn't been the case for this team. Ever.
  6. Supervised autopilot is more realistic. My car basically does that now with lane keep assist and the dynamic cruise control
  7. Flying cars were supposed to be here by 2000. I'm still waiting.
  8. The interstate that connects NYC to Connecticut is like that. It's like a NASCAR track. Even the cable guy is doing 85+.
  9. NY and Boston easily the worst driving in the country IMO. DC area traffic is terrible and up there. But Boston is vehicular combat. A turn signal is a threat to people's existence up there. And in NYC people parallel park by running into each others cars. Its crazy.
  10. I don't think there were many happy players on those Panthers teams.
  11. I agree. He's not a monster of a man physically, but he does have the physical tools to be a successful QB IMO. He's a complete clown though, so I really doubt it's going to work out well for him. However, there are times when something can be stupid enough to work. The Browns are definitely pushing that button.
  12. Pretty sure this deal has come up in the past, and it's always been extended by the NFL. They don't want competition either. Madden makes a fortune and EA pays them a boatload to license it.
  13. I like us having different unique jerseys for home/away/alt, but I'm okay with retiring the diagonal CANES one.
  14. Damn that sounds bad. But it sounds like your son didn't fall too far from the tree. Good luck to him.
  15. ??? Where's the Florida Gators? Their fans assured me they were going all the way.
  16. As bad as that was 20 years ago, now we're in the era of ultimate team. Everything's got some stupid card game that drives all the revenue.
  17. Ironically 2K did the same thing to baseball in response. EA's MVP 2005 Baseball is one of the best baseball video games ever made. In response to EA killing NFL competition, 2K secured the exclusive third party rights to baseball and killed off the best baseball game. It's bad for everyone.
  18. Yeah unfortunately sports games peaked around 2005. Then all the exclusivity agreements ruined everything. I would be so hype about a NFL front office game similar to Out of the Park Baseball.
  19. Yea it feels like the OG black and silver is like an alternate at this point.
  20. If it's in the game, it's in the game. Unless its long snappers.
  21. Alright I'm on the Jimmy Horn Jr train. I don't care if its irrational.
