The Colts basically had every offensive line starter out last night and could still run the ball and protect the passer. Matt Rhule is a terrible coach and a terrible evaluator of talent.

The only thing that would end my fandom is Tepper moving the team. Just like when George Shinn moved the Hornets I will be done as a fan.

Rhule should be fired on the offensive line alone. For fug sake he’s a former offensive line coach and we have the worst unit in the league in year 2. Kick this idiot to the curb NOW. We might as well forfeit our last 2 games or have Sir Purr be the interim coach. Tepper should be ashamed of how lousy of an owner he is. “It’s an 8-8 league” lmao

Next year is already wasted if Rhule is still the coach anyways. It will rival the 2010 team that finished dead last. I’ve been a fan of this team since the beginning, and I have never felt so hopeless about the team going into an offseason. What a joke. Tepper needs to own up to his mistakes and step away from all football decisions.

Every coaching hire that seemed like a joke has turned out better than Rhule.

Seems really dumb in retrospect to have used that pick on a RB. Undrafted FAs are about the same or better.

The reality is that winning breeds success when it comes to a fervent fan base. The Patriots, Steelers, Cowboys, Packers, 49ers don’t have big fan bases because they have better fans. They have big fan bases because they WON. And they did it over years and years. Pull out the “fair weather fan” card all you want, but it’s just the reality of pro sports. Ill be a Panther fan for life, but nobody’s going to be excited about supporting a garbage organization. It’s still a little early to tell, but we’re getting close to the moment of truth with Tepper.

And what do you think is going to happen when Tepper demands a new stadium and he’s lost a bunch of fan support for fielding lousy teams?

They just moved two teams to LA and one to Las Vegas. What alternate universe do you live in?

If the PSL owners walk away we won’t have a team in Charlotte.

Also I’d just like to add this. If Green Bay is willing to trade Love for picks, it means he isn’t the answer. If Love was showing signs he was the next great QB, Rodgers would have been shipped off to the 49ers or Rams this past offseason. Instead, the Packers are hanging onto Rodgers for as long as he will stay there.

Giving up any draft resources for a QB like Jimmy G or Love would be awful. Neither of those guys are good enough to win a championship, so what’s the point? Jimmy is average and Love hasn’t shown any signs he’s an NFL starter. Just sign some veteran QB for cheap and keep Cam next year. Darnold is 18m no matter what, so he may as well be a backup on the roster next season.

Well then I guess we know Tepper is a lousy owner. No coach should be guaranteed 3 seasons. Why didn't Urban Meyer get 3 seasons? Steve Wilks? Freddie Kitchens? The list goes on. Tepper is a bad owner.

Skip Bayless isn't dumb. He puts on a show for views. It's like actually hating a heel in pro wrestling. You're kind of falling for it. But that being said, he's right. And I'm glad the Panthers are on blast now.

The defense is built to play with a lead but they’re paired with an anemic offense that’s allergic to points.

You’re right about an elite program being required but Steve Spurrier is a great example of this. He had success at Duke and went onto Florida. Granted that was 100 years ago and it’s one guy, but coaches who win at low tier programs get a shot to move up.

So the cardinals shouldn’t have fired Steve Wilks? The Browns shouldn’t have fired Freddie Kitchens? Two years isn’t enough time to evaluate a coach that’s showing some potential. Two years is more than enough time to identify a turd like Rhule.

I’m all for blowing it up to be honest. Trade CMC and Burns for picks. We need draft ammo to rebuild our offensive and defensive lines.
