  1. He's missed open guys several times today. He also doesn't do the line any favors with how he operates (or fails to) in the pocket.
  2. Makes sense. I'm sure the work life balance is great and having 0 expectation of winning is nice.
  3. If Jerry is as patient with McCarthy as he was with Garrett, he's going to be waiting a long time.
  4. This guy is not worth the negative culture he brings. Don't like this kind of attitude as part of the team. Especially not for a slightly above average talent.
  5. Yea I'm just joking. The only real answer is to try and get fired for performance reasons. Because other than that, the only way out (where you keep all the money) is going to be some big time school buying out his contract. And I'm just not sure that's going to happen.
  6. The textbook definition of a replacement level player. Anyone you pull off the waiver wire is going to be about the same.
  7. I'd probably hang back instead of flying back with the team and put my finger in some young lady's butt hole in public.
  8. Thats funny but I wouldn't even give him that much credit. A good cover band can execute someone else's musical composition in a competent way. McAdoo's offense is more like a crappy garage band that can't even play in time together.
  9. No hands, no vision, no balance, no explosiveness. I said it last year but Chuba is replacement level at best.
  10. Yea I can't even be mad at the McAdoo hire. No decent coach was going to come in and work for a lame duck head coach. The writing is on the wall for Rhule and the only person that hasn't seen that is Tepper.
  11. His plan is to collect as much of that 7 year contract as possible until he returns to college.
  12. We're already at 4 crappy seasons in a row after this one. And even if the right coach is in place, we're probably due for another one next year. That's half a decade of poo football to sit through.
  13. Well if he's our Chuck Noll, doesn't that mean he gets 23 years or something?
  14. No and I don't think that's really a fair argument to make. Of course we have some talented players. Marty Hurney drafted some talented players too. But overall, he didn't do a good enough job to build a winning roster. By the logic in your post, we should have never fired Marty Hurney. The FA signings have been so-so, the draft picks have not been that great, and the trades have been bad. I don't think getting fleeced by the Jets or trading up to select the seemingly worst QB in this past year's draft has anything to do with Matt Rhule's coaching. If we let Fitterer run the show, I really hope it works out. I'll be the first one to admit I was wrong about him. But it seems about as likely to me as Rhule being our Chuck Noll.
