  1. Physical ability or not. Mac Jones is just a smarter qb than fields. And certainly not the long term project as lance.
  2. How did mahoomes and hill do in the super bowl with a crappy line? There's your answer. How did cam play in the super bowl with a crappy line? There's your answer
  3. IMO the drop from Sewell/slater is substantial. Granted there are a lot of guys in that 2nd tier but they to me have major issues. Whether it’s durability, motivation etc. they all have a knock on them. I am not seeing any knocks on Sewell slater. Pick one at 8. Another lineman in the 2nd. Hopefully a starter at safety in the 3rd and be done with it. For once I would love for my football team to have an aggressive mean talented oline. I have no clue what that feels like to not worry about your qb being decapitated each week.

  5. 5 10 180 lbs runs a 4.3. That’s a slot wr
  6. There is just no chance we pass on slater for a slot wide receiver IMO. That’s just insanity.
  7. We dont need Waddle. Damn didnt he just break his ankle. Also if we are dead set on getting some WR help its a deep class there as well. I want one of the 2 start from day 1 LT. No need to be cute draft one and be fuging done with it.
  8. I don’t care I just want one of them.
  9. I would be apprehensive for sure but their coach is one of the best in the game so I would trust him 100%. I just didnt want him because I am still going through Bridgewater ptsd
  10. 2 months ago I was bracing myself for Mac Jones at 8. So where I sit today I am good.
  11. I wouldnt be as upset with pitts (although he aint falling to 8 ) but I would lose my mind if we selected Waddle over Slater. Which I really doubt happens. No need for Fit to get cute and do any trade downs his first.
  12. Speed guys in the mold of samuel and waddle are infinitely easier to find than a 10 year LT. But yeah I agree with you otherwise, we aint picking a qb in the first
  13. Thats a good trade however the 2nd tier of tackles after Slater and Sewell all have some big question marks. I am almost simply inclined to flip picks with the Broncos if they wanted for whatever we could get and still pick what LT was there between Sewell or slater. Both of those guys are draft, plug in the lineup and forget for a decade
  14. It wouldnt surprise me at all if it came out at some point that JR was suffering from some sort of dementia or something like that towards the end. Dude completely went off the rails the last years of his ownership. Lawsuits and jeans aside, the timing of firing DG, Morrison just abruptly leaving (which we still dont know why), hiring Hurndog back, promoting the cheerleader. So many things just made me scratch my head.
  15. No media was allowed but the tidbits that are leaking are saying it was just like the first. His arm strength was displayed on a 60 yard pass running to his left and he made the exact same throws as the first except flipped. I doubt it changed anyone’s mind either way. after spending the greater part of the week listening to various podcasts breaking down the prospects I cannot remember a qb coming out that was had so much disagreement. One faction swears he cannot process the field fast enough and relies on his first read. The other say that’s just how the offense is. I am not smart enough to know either way but something to me does feel off about him. Northwester gave him all sorts of problems
  16. Yep it all rides on the oline. Thats why I am hoping we choose lineman with 3 of our top 4 picks. Build it up and be done with it for once
