  1. scanning the board and crazy as it seems there are multiple threads discussing just those topics.
  2. then why dont teams do that more if the 5th is so valuable? If thats the case then the bills clearly value moving up 60 spots vs a 5th on a wr or whatever
  3. Its an anonymous message board discussing our supposed favorite team, how in the fug could you possible think this bleeds into real life? Just seems you are making a subtle dig or something. This team has giving us complete poo at every turn for close to a decade. We always go left instead of going right. We always and I mean always seem to make the wrong choice and do things ass backwards. I can give you 50 examples off the top of my head in you need refreshing. Being laser focused on a player to the point he is telling the media he is our pick making the GM panicked that someone may get him before us because we broadcasted who we liked is a perfect example. If teams valued the 5th year option as much as its getting played on here today you simply would see more teams doing it if it mattered that much. We will see how the 2nd plays out but my gut and head think he would have lasted to 39 easily especially with who is on the board. An unprecedented amount of qbs went obviously pushing talent down and we still couldnt get out of our own way.
  4. “I think once the wideouts were taken—Brian Thomas was taken and then I felt like there was gonna be a little run on wideouts after that,” he stated. “Then Xavier Worthy got taken. And we liked some of those guys and with Xavier [Legette] out there, we were just like—we don’t wanna put ourself in a bad situation to where we’re not gonna be able to get the guy we wanna get. He was our target, we really liked him and we went and got him.” Kindof sounds like it though, I mean they literally had the next pick. Sounds eerily similar to fitt on dj johnson
  5. I said in the initial XL thread I would be fine with him at 39 if we can get a starter locked in at 33 or a trade down. Not completely down on the kid but wasnt my first choice either. Def think Ladd would be better for young if that is the plan
  6. its 59 spots, saying you flip picks is disingenuous and again the ability to maneuver the 33 pick if you wanted as XL would still be there and quite possibly even at 39 or wherever you trade to in between if that was the strategy. Feels like the corral move, feels like the DJ move. Panicking for no reason
  7. we gave up draft ground and lost the ability to trade out of 33, I wouldnt say it was nothing
  8. Now you are being negative and some folks are going to question your personal life
  9. I thought ikcy and chavala would be good and why are you worried about my personal life thats a bit weird dude, If I am negative its because this franchise continues to shot itself in its dick. Give me something to be positive and Ill be positive but as of now there is just misstep after misstep.
  10. blank also wanted to hire Bill B but his front office talked him out of it. Seems like the issue is much larger then most are aware of.
  11. thats easy, you could literally get the same guy at 33 and you can field calls for a potential deal. The 5th year option doesnt move the needle for a variety of reasons and we gave up almost 2 rounds worth with the pick flip
  12. they just signed brissette to a 1 year deal anticipating whichever qb they get he will sit for the short term to maybe year, Bill simmons has talked about this a bunch on his podcast
  13. maye will sit for a year or close to it, you can book that in stone
  14. if they knew they were taking a qb a month ago, why give cousins 100 million and make it virtually impossible to move off of him for 2 seasons? Any qb taken there would be a bad choice but picking a 24 year old with a bad knee and bad shoulder just seems like an astronomically insane selection
  15. thats the thing, blank clearly is out of it and they made the pick without telling him. Thats how its set up in atl. Here not so much
  16. Not particularly doubting you here and I dont follow USC football but you got a link talking about him being misused or whatever? Because all of the various draft profiles about him mainly just he is a late bloomer due to the covid year. here is a sample but they all pretty much read like this. Here is is rated the 81 overall prospect Legette is still raw and may fit best with a creative offensive coordinator who will scheme him touches. He is not a natural separator early in his routes; he’s shown the ability to use his big frame to separate late and win at the catch point, but he needs work as a route runner to separate quickly from savvy defenders. Legette played quarterback as a high school senior, but his slow development arc is a concern; he’s a one-year wonder and basically did nothing his first four seasons in college (with his previous best season being 2022, when he caught 18 passes for 167 yards and three scores).
  17. and 2 severe shoulder injuries. All things considered it wasnt a good pick
  18. That just seems like a level of coping. If he could do what he did in his 5th season earlier then it would have come out. Coaches dont intentionally hide their talented players especially in college. Just like with bryce, I wasnt happy with the trade or the pick but he is on our team now so we have to pull for them but goddamn sometimes this franchise cannot get out of its own way.
  19. Its fuging wild. If bryces game is timing and precision route running then they got the absolute opposite type player. A deep threat that is raw and has a limited route tree. I think the kid would have been there at 39 easily. I guess we will see how the 2nd round unfolds but the top centers are there, some good corners are still there and wr's are still there.
  20. cousins has a no trade clause Why sign Kirk if you knew you like Pennix? Blank was supposedly furious last night
