  1. we have 2 solid/above average (however you want to phrase that) wr's, which is more than half the league at least. We dont need to be blowing more first round capital just to placate Bryce and his limitations. We have one absolute stud (probably top 10 wr) in tmac and we have a high floor guy with insane potential if he can stay healthy. Yeah man we are in better shape than the bulk of the teams in the league. If you need to add some speed or whatever, sure draft in the mid rounds or wait until tc cuts. Its monumentally stupid to spend 3 straight firsts on a wr if thats the route they go. ITs just more and more excuses for Bryce, thats where we are at now. "How can bryce succeed without a big possession type wr (drafts 2 for him), how is bryce supposed to exceed without a speed guy......." Its fuging never ending. Give EE some goddamn help on defense for once
  2. Green Bay was a team I was thinking. The others just have 2 solid options. And we are talking about teams with 3 solid above average options
  3. Its been now 3 years of him being an OC and all 3 years his offenses have stunk ass and you can argue they are getting worse
  4. You think Canales is an offensive minded head coach? For realz?
  5. If they draft offense again in the first that would be 5 years of doing so. That is the textbook definition of neglecting the defense.
  6. Who knows but the clock is basically at zero as it stands now. 4 years (3 in my opinion) is plenty of time to evaluate what you have at qb
  7. If it happens? Brother its for sure going to happen. The teps love some bryce. I suspect by game 9 when we are 4-5 it will come down that he is signing a 4 year ext worth about $220 with 100 guaranteed. Thats my best guess. So basically he is on the books for 4/5 more years.
  8. Thats with one of the most expensive lines in the nfl, a top tier Rb, 2 first round wr's and a really good UDFA. All of that equates at best to a top 20 qb. This place is going to lose its collective minds when the inevitable Tepper extension is applied
  9. im down, thats not bad, still need some oline depth in there somewhere
  10. The push back here would be, if you have to have this much aligned for Bryce to hopefully show that he might be the guy then there is no fuging way you should be giving him $50 mil per moving forward. And that is the low end of what he is going to asking for. We have seen too many times that giving a dude a huge deal doesnt work. Especially if you have doubts. (See miami, Giants, Cards, no, atl etc) And I ask again, what other teams have 3 above average wrs on them? Most good qbs elevate whats already on the roster.
  11. Seems uninspiring for pick 19. Maybe 2nd but no way at 19
  12. If it happens it will be surprising that Morgan continues to neglect the defensive side of the ball. If it happens its seems like they are desperately trying to convince themselves that Bryce was the correct pick therefor justifying extending. At least thats where my conspiracy brain immediately goes to whenever I read stuff like this. I mean for fugs sake how many teams have 3 legit bad ass wr's? Its most certainly under 5 and thats even stretching it
  13. Why in the hell would the Chargers ever do that? One thing for certain is draft season gets fuging silly this late in the game
  14. Canales said. "So Luke certainly gives us that, and he'll be competing for the job. We also have Nick Samac, whom we brought in, and I'm excited about Nick. He looks good. has been training. We could draft a guy, so we wanted to try to make that position a really competitive spot. 66 PFF ranking 18th among centers. Textbook defintion of "meh"
  15. 2 banged up starters on the oline, 1 starter completely out for the foreseeable future, a LT that nobody really wanted for who knows why, a "meh" center that is not guaranteed the job. Oh yeah and absolutely no depth as we sit here on April 8th. With all that said, and not to beat a dead horse, this all goes along with a qb who goes ass up when ever pressure is applied So yeah your point stands and I am not going to cry if we spend a ton of picks on the oline. guards and tackles
  16. If BPA wasnt a myth then why arent more teams with qb drafting qbs if they are high on their boards? You are nuts if you dont think teams take in positional value, roster make up and draft depth in selection of players
  17. BPA is a myth strategy. You simply have to account for positional value and current roster status. BPA is like taking a generic ESPN fantasy football ranking and simply crossing off the list as you go down
  18. some of ya'll are really heavily invested in making sure that Bryce looks like a top 20 qb
  19. Its not that cut and dry. How does Bpa work postitionally? You telling me a wr3 is a better fit for this roster than a starting Dtackle, safety or corner? Nah its doesnt work like that
