  1. Completely agree with your post however the conspiracy theorist in me thinks harbaugh was using his "interest in Carolina" as leverage to get a better contract from the chargers
  2. I think last year would like to have a word
  3. Sellers is the most intriguing QB prospect to me. Has the tools to be a Josh Allen/Cam Newton type player but he's going to need some more time Dante Moore is another guy I'm watching. Mendoza should also be watched I am out on Manning, Allar, Beck and Nuss as of now though The other option is to just draft Bain from Miami and get our d line right and sign a veteran this off-season. justin fields will probably be available lol
  4. Not trading Brian burns for two firsts and not immediately signing him was also a giant mistake that I'm SURE he played a role in
  5. Bryce has been discussed so much it feels like shouting into a storm at this point but the bottom line is Bryce is not physically gifted enough to be a difference making QB (i.e. Allen, Lamar, Mahomes, etc). His best possible outcome is a high level game manager (Brock Purdy esque and yes Brock can make some throws Bryce can't) If Bryce does not have elite talent at the receiver position/o-line and has an average scheme/OC/HC, he will not succeed. Now ALL of that being said Bryce was part of the problem yesterday but he wasn't the ONLY problem. It is very reasonable to argue that because QB is the most important position on the field that Bryce is our number one problem rn. But the coaching is also a huge issue. This team is largely average to below average in terms of talent at nearly every position. I see three Pro Bowl caliber players on this roster right now, which simply put is not good enough. You want to improve this roster? I don't disagree QB could be upgraded, but in addition to that I believe we also need a new HC as well then and need a major injection of talent across the roster. Very, very hard to do all of that in one offseason
  6. I actually think it behooves us to play Bryce the whole year. If he sucks you get a higher draft pick and even if you don't draft a QB and go the veteran route you can trade down or get bain from Miami or downs from Ohio st
  7. I was more referring to Brian Burns having an excellent game Chicago winning (just hate them now) Atlanta looking better this week (if you still have a hope for playoffs lol) and basically nearly every other team in the league looking at least somewhat competent in their games besides us
  8. we have a top down problem which started the minute he got hired. He has systematically dismantled this team piece by piece since arriving. He has destroyed the team culture, our reputation around the league, our stadium and even tried to remove traditions. His hirings have been nothing short of unmitigated disasters and those hirings have borrowed from the future time and time again to preserve their jobs in the short term. Not to mention the coaching and draft talent has been abysmal. We are rotten to the core right now and it will take another clean rebuild and years of time to get back to being competent. The problem is I don't trust him to do anything correctly anymore
  9. this needs to be the pinned thread until he shows a modicum of competence
  10. well we went from a competent franchise to the laughing stock of the league
  11. I don't think there was a single good outcome today in terms of being hopeful about the Panthers
  12. We've been the Browns/jets since tepper arrived
  13. I don't think at this point anyone can tell any Panthers fan how to fan. Tepper has eroded all good will since arriving here. He's dismantled any culture we previously had. fug he even tried to get rid of Keep Pounding You want to be the most negative human on the planet? Go ahead. Tepper has earned it You want to remain positive and hope it's going to get better? Fine too You want to stop watching because it's a waste of your Sundays? Agree. I'll just continue to come here to commiserate with you all until hopefully we turn the corner one day. Don't know when that will be.
  14. that' a very fair point, I don't think Canales is a good HC either but Tepper has shown zero ability to get a good HC and it's only going to get harder now
  15. I really don't see how yall aren't getting me saying I'm fine with moving on from Bryce I'm just pointing out we have issues which extend beyond him. Maybe if I say this it will stop the replies. Bryce is our number one problem. However we have a lot of problems
  16. can you tell my wife I'm logical? She's starting to move further away from me on the couch rn
  17. Nah this is exactly what I don't want. I'm totally fine if we move on from bryce but I'd much rather get a new HC to pair with a new QB than get a new QB and fire canales one year later only to have a new HC who doesn't have his QB...
  18. I used to be like you but this team has broken me
  19. and I'm tired of people acting like we are a QB away from being good. as I've said multiple times in this thread I'd be fine if we move on from Bryce, but this team has a lot of issues that extend beyond 9
  20. I can buy week 2 but again we are not a good team rn. I'll be fine if we move on from Bryce at the end of this year but yall are kidding yourself if you think this team is a competitor with Brock Purdy at the helm
  21. IDK if they are terrible but they certainly are not a GOOD team, neither is Arizona nor Jax and all three have kicked our fuging ass
  22. again, I'm not a Bryce stan but to act like the team doesn't suck too is what landed us with Bryce in the first place (overestimating how close we were to competing)
  23. I agree, hence why I am not a Bryce stan but we all need to stop pretending we are a QB away from being a competent team
