  1. Front office is killing it, and yall can not be serious wanting Ace Bailey, dude has BUST written all over him. I would be loathe to cheer for a player like him
  2. Honestly I haven no idea what I would have even done last night, Edgecomb was the most realistic option to improve our team
  3. wow dude I haven't seen your username in forever. Hope you are doing well
  4. I am still cautiously optimistic personally. I really love the work Dan has done building a team but I am still not 100% sold on Bryce or Canales. To be clear, I definitely think they've earned the benefit of the doubt but after 10 years of losing I'm starting to become a cat that touched the hot stove one too many times
  5. wasn't her because I follow her too. lol relax
  6. I agree also FWIW some random guy on twitter claiming to have sources in the organization said It's not happening
  7. traffic was a nightmare coming into charlotte. My wife and I were driving back from Raleigh area and google maps detoured us like almost an hour out of way around concord because it was so backed up
  8. oh 100% I'm just living in fantasy land don't mind me
  9. only question left is are we playing the Bills, chiefs, ravens in the superbowl? Bills would certainly be the best in terms of just playing a cursed franchise
  10. this is really cool, also credit to Dan for holding the Rams hostage for that pick. I'm proud he didn't sell low on it.
  11. I think I legitimately may be a cursed sports fan. I am sorry yall
  12. this is a sensationalist headline Juan and you know it lol
  13. the athletic football show is the best NFL podcast to listen to hands down IMO, Mays is awesome. I really miss Tice though he was such a great cohost and him and Dane Brugler's prospects to pros pod was an awesome way to keep track of draft prospects as the CFB season went along
  14. Again had we not ended up gifting the number one pick this trade would be closer. The problem was we misevaluated how close we were. From an asset standpoint it isn't close the Bears gave up a number one pick and got one in return plus a bunch of other stuff. Had we traded Brian Burns for two firsts and then used those instead of our pick it would have been us
  15. I totally agree but I don't think the NBA will ever abandon it. They are so worried about tanking
  16. yea i actually don't hate that pick, last years draft sucked
  17. You can't even watch a fuging hornets game in charlotte without having some special app, it's insane Ok i'm done
  18. my idea to fix the NBA lottery is to have three team brackets so the three worst teams are bracketed in the top three picks. Worst team with 50% odds, second worse 30% odds and third worse 20%. Then picks 4-6, 7-9, and 9-12 are the same. This would prevent these gigantic leaps teams are taking up the lottery to land generational stars when they had no business going there. The NFL doesn't fear this, why does the NBA- oh wait it's because they need the popular teams to stay good so the league stays relevant
  19. i feel similar, it just feels like there is no way out of the basement for the hornets. we would have to get EXTREMELY lucky on a few picks which is hard to do when the NBA routinely screws you out of top talent
  20. not the biggest canes fan but I've been watching them more this year, such a fun sport. I'm impressed with how Svetch is playing. (again I'm a noob when it comes to hockey)
  21. how much of that is Kyle Shanahan though ? Don't get me wrong Purdy is not a bad QB, but to me he is pretty average
