And I think people like you are fuging pathetic for being defensive of a bad to mid short, weak armed QB who never should have been drafted in the first round. A broken clock is right twice a day. You don’t compliment the broken clock. Bryce may have a couple of good plays a game but he is still a broken clock that will never amount to anything other than a backup.

We already have seen what he looks like without a running game against the Cowboys. He was awful.

Mahomes also throws TDs with ease and averages 20+ a season where Bryce can barely throw 15. His “rookie” year he threw 50. Stop comparing Bryce to one of the best QBs in the NFL. He is Bridgewater at best. Meaning he will never be the reason we are successful and will always need the perfect team around him to have any modicum of success.

True but compared to Super Bowl caliber or even playoff caliber QBs he still if not that impressive. Hard to see us winning a Super Bowl with a QB that struggles to throw 15 TDs a season.

It is hard to envisioning us winning a Super Bowl with Bryce.

Guess we’ll get to see what Bryce can do without a run game to fall back on. He already failed miserably against the Cowboys. Can he improve?

Considering where he was drafted. Yeah. I expect numbers like what the Commanders rookie has been putting up in his second year. But he struggles to put up 150 yards and 1 passing TD a game.

All I am looking for next year is more consistent offense. Consistent 200+ yard games and multi-TD games. I hope he can get to 20+ TD.

One of the biggest stats I am somewhat concerned about is Bryce struggling to throw TDs. It will be hard to be successful with a QB that throws less than 20 TDs a season. Heck Bryce struggles to throw 15. I wondered how many multi-TD games he has and he had 3. Last one before this being the Packers game. Can’t ever see this team being a contender if Bryce is throwing 15-18 TDs a season.

Bryce needs to show last week was an anomaly. Even if the line is down he needs to rise above and give a decent showing. If he gives another clunker Saunders and Ward are still in play.

Bryce succeeding was always going to be high risk/high reward. Dude had a ton of red flags going into the draft that teams just decided to ignore. Heck if he was a good short QB he would have joined a very short list, heh, of successful short QBs in the Super Bowl era. Since it seems like his processing doesn’t matter in the NFL all he has is a very average QB ability in a 5’10” body. Murray at least has an arm.

Baker was never that bad and Darnold is literally in a perfect situation for him. A lot of people have been saying Darnold needs a perfect situation to be successful and he has it. That is so why teams need to be very wary of signing Darnold to a big contract. Because whatever team signs him won’t be a perfect situation anymore. Vikings offense has made it so easy for him and that defense has been able to make up for any mistakes, think bad INTs, that he makes.

I am getting as annoyed with how people are willing to die on a hill for a short, physically weak QB. If the Panthers improve it will be in spite of Bryce not because of him. Also Chubba it wasn’t just one game. Bad Bryce has a much bigger sample size then one game. Bryce hasn’t earned the “one game” excuse.
