    From what I have been told, similar to any time a new generation starts, last-gen versions are essentially glorified roster updates. No new anything.

    I never really hated them. There were players I didn’t like but those games during the Cam years, except 2016, were always a blast.

    Also makes me wonder how good Hurts would be if he was on a team other than the Eagles. That team is covering up a lot of his major deficiencies. I feel like the Eagles are gonna be like the 14-2 Ravens when Lamar won the MVP. Get beaten by a team that Can exploit their biggest flaw.

    Also our defense, witch wasn’t that good in 2016, got worse when Wilks took over in 2017. We had a ton of sacks but we gave up a ton of yards and points. Always surprised we we went to the playoffs with that defense.

    Not saying we would have hired him but it makes me angry we didn’t fire Rhule last year and go after Dabole. Sure it looks like the clock has struck midnight for the Giants but the fact he was able to coach 7 wins out of them is amazing.

    If we don’t get a QB in the first round I ‘d just roll with Corral and see what we got with him.

    I do wonder if Mahomes would have a drop off, maybe not as bad as Wilson, if he went to play as another team. He is still a first round talent unlike Wilson being a 3rd round pick.

    It wouldn’t be the first time a team had success, after firing a HC, from an interim HC. Problem is that success almost never translates after the interim season. If Wilks is our HC, it is what it is, but I will continue to be skeptical of him till he shows me a reason not to be.

    Too many times I have seen one this board during games people talking about how Burns is getting bullied by a better lineman or how he misses sacks. He has been impressive these last 2 games. But I’d like him to be more consistent if we are gonna pay him a contract that will reset the league average. .

    There are actual reports that it was Rhule who didn’t want to trade up for Hubert, didn’t want to trade up or draft Fields because he was so certain Darnold was the guy. What an asshat. No accountability.

    Guy actually thought he was gonna be given 5 years no matter what happened? This is the NFL. Pro sports do not work like that. Also what big trade could we make that would have made this team a true contender? FA market right now is looking kinda bad and as of right now there doesn’t appear to be any QB worth trading up depending who you talk to.

    I don’t think I have ever seen as bad of a Free Agent QB list as this off-season before. Usually there is some QB that makes you think “maybe if” but not this year. Hope this doesn’t mean we are in for another year of down football. NFL has been so bad this year.
