On the financial side Mayfield and Jimmy contracts and what their teams want are a major obstacle. 49ers fans think they can get our 1st round pick for and oft injured mediocre QB. Which makes me laugh every time I see once of their mock drafts. Plus the 9ers are gonna have to take on some of Jimmy’s contract. We can’t afford his contract straight up. Baker’s attitude aside, Panthers will need the Browns to take on most of his contract and we are not giving up our first round pick for Baker. If the 9ers or Browns are willing to take less and give more then I think the Panthers could get them for a one year rental. If not I don’t want them.

Saints can have him. Taints are toxic so he would fit right in.

You’re right. But it feels like the groundwork for getting rid of Keep Pounding was laid last season. Remember when there was no Keep Pounding chant or Scoreboard prompt during the Jets game last season? They only returned it after fan backlash and made some stupid excuse as to why it wasn’t there. I don’t understand what this owner and coach hope to gain from trying to remove legacy traditions and sayings and think the fans won’t notice. Not everything has the stink of the old regime. Not everything needs to be changed. Like our history.

I, personally, would have no problem with this, other than it being kinda cringe and cheesy, if we were a good football team.

I feel so sorry for the Chargers and their fans. Never can seem to put it all together. They had a really good team last year and a QB that played Elite. Missed the playoffs at 9-8. Hard knock life.

If there is one thing the sports industry has taught me. You can be absolutely atrocious at your job and you will still keep said job. Wish that worked in the real world.

If we get Jimmy I hope they don’t extend him and just let him finish his contract with us and then kick him to the curb. Problem is 49ers know Jimmy may not be ready for training camp and STILL want too much for him. I don’t like Darnold but at least with him we would be guaranteed another top 10 pick.

I get player not wanting to admit faults but him saying he is a good QB in the NFL and he has proven it is just pure narcissism. I mean are you blind? Did you really think how badly you played last year that equals to you playing good? Forgive me, math isn’t my strong suit but that equation doesn’t seem right.

Was a fun game. But disappointing. Don’t know why they were rushing down the court those final seconds. They didn’t need to do all those desperation shots they had enough time for a quick reset.

Another big trade that will probably screw the Panthers and we just stay pat.

I don’t understand people fascination with Kaepernick. He had regressed a lot. He is 34 years old. And hasn’t played a game since 2016. I know people will say he is better than Darnold but is he really? Plus I am tired of people going to that reason for signing mediocre players. Even though I don’t think Kaepernick is mediocre anymore.

Browns had a stacked Super Bowl ready team in 2020 and still Barely made the playoffs. Couldn’t even beat a Mahomes less team. Never liked Baker definitely think he was part of the problem that they couldn’t make a Super Bowl run
