His also in a league where historically QBs his size do not succeed. He would be an exception and join a very, very short list, no pun intended, of successful short NFL QBs. Doesn’t matter about forgetting to play football. Football in the NFL is way different than college. If it was the same we would have a lot more success.

I wouldn’t have traded up. I would have kept Wilks if all the other offensive coaches I really wanted dropped out. Meaning I wouldn’t settle for Reich. I’d also fire Fitt. I would sign Darnold to a one year tank commander deal going into 2023 aiming to take a QB in a very deep QB class. We go 3-14, get a top 5 pick. Still have DJ Moore and CMC for the rookie QB. Go into 2024 season with Wilks and a newly rejuvenated team. I stay out of football operations and only get involved if I absolutely have too.

Saw some people call him Frodo, which is a weird insult because Frodo is a hero, but I think calling him Ragdoll makes more sense.

People did it for Darnold, and are still doing it. No matter how bad a QB is there will always be defenders.

Yeah it is obvious he will never develop on a team like ours. On a good team he would be like Jimmy G or Bridgewater. Needing a really good team around him to be successful. Panthers will never be able to raise up Young.

I think we should take a QB in the 2024 round if the pickings for OL, DL or WR is gone. I wish there was some protection for the first pick if something like this happens.

Tepper does the right things in the wrong order. Fitt should have been fired first, heck GM and HC should be fired together, but it seems like the process is gonna be ass backwards again. I have a feeling the rumors we will like the new coach pick the GM is worrying.

Never even heard of Moore till now and had to look him up. Consider me, meh, on the potential. Seems like Charger fans are up and down about him. But Panthers would hire a coach like Moore.

History shows majority of QBs that come from those schools don’t have successful NFL careers. As I said, you will have an exception every once in a blue moon. But it is exactly that an exception.

Will Stroud and Tua have been the exception. Never draft QBs from Alabama, Ohio or USC. I know Caleb Williams is getting a ton of hype but the fact he is from USC would have me worried if we did have our first pick.
