The bitching will calm down in a few days and then the start of which QB we should take discussions will begin. Should be really entertaining month and a half of off-season.

My question is how would we make them honor it? Say they said they wanted Young but come draft day got Stroud when we were set on getting Stroud or vise versa.

I had a feeling some of these articles that we would trade back down would come up. Either way we are getting our QB and we won’t be trading down unless we can get him. It isn’t Levis. Levis and Richardson aren’t happening.

Gonna be interesting what comes out of pro day for all 4. I predict a lot of fluff articles saying how impressed we are with every one.

As as people enjoyed winning. Still gonna be a little bitter toward Wilks at how he hurt this team by winning. Should have made McAdoo interim then we would have tanked properly.

I expect a lot of smoke screening and articles saying how we love Levis or Richardson. It is Young or Stroud. They are the best QBs who could either start day one or eventually the same season if we decide to let him sit for a while. Like Tua, which seems to help him.

Whoever it was had to of gotten the thumbs up from Reich and the offensive staff.

Fields didn’t look bad when they actually let him throw the ball and he wasn’t running for his life. No way they’d do this without Reich at least approving of it. Don’t want to piss off your new coach. I trust Reich and Co. to get the best out of the new QB.

Less his decision making was getting better and more the coaching staff knew what QB they had and wouldn't let him do anymore than the basics because if he did more he'd have a bunch of turnovers.

Could be a good receiver to pair with a rookie. Good comfort blanket. He still has some gas in the tank.

Honestly I think it is inevitable he is probably gone.

If we can’t get a QB in the first round I will be riding that trade back wagon.

Making assumptions that next years QBs will be better than this year is misguided.

You really think people will keep watching if the team just does that? I am falling asleep just thinking of a team that settles at QB and keeps drafting positions other than QB hoping one day, which will never come, a QB falls into our lap supposedly worth investing in. Mahomes don’t happen very often. It is hard to build a team for a rookie but it isn’t hard to build a team around a rookie.

Did he only start because the head coach had no one else and went with the vet in the room?

Hypothetically, even Young or Stroud? If it is either of those I’d expect them to start sometime next year unless the team over performs and taking out the current QB doesn’t make sense because he has the hot hand.

Guess we gotta hope that Reich is the QB whisperer people think he is and he can develop a QB with the highest floor but lowest ceiling into a franchise QB, or at least a competent starter.
