We were 21-0 up and lost. Why did the O disappear or 2 quarters against a poor Syracuse D? That's not a #1 overall calibre QB when it continues to happen (our 2Q stats this year are awful). The D is bad, but the O knew this and needed to continue to pile on. Against GT and against Syracuse it didn't and we lost.

Nah, we were comfortable against almost everyone in the ACC. Two bad losses at the end of the season because the O started to get figured out and bob's your uncle. I never said we were going to win the National Championship - that wasn't the goal this year and a 10 win team is never a bad team. Ward doesn't have a good enough deep ball for the NFL - forget how much he freelances and wants to take the killshot, that's what will limit him at the next level.

The O has been poor the last few weeks. Disappeared for 2Q today. Disappeared for a similar amount of time against GT.

I disagree. That O is stacked. The D is talented, but the DC has been an abomination. I think a lot of you are going to be surprised with how poorly Ward does in the NFL.

They called a phantom PI on 4th and Goal - that would have been the end of the game. They also didn't call targeting when a Georgia LB lit up the GT QB and caused a fumble. Absolutely disgraceful decisions, both.

The SEC were not having GT upset Georgia at home. Horrendously corrupt officiating in this game - the non-PI on 4th down and the non-targeting call on the King fumble. Good lord.

High look overview: continue to acquire talent. Last offseason was a step in the right direction. Trade Young in the offseason and look for another option. He's not the guy.

So Florida doesn't count as a big win? Last I checked they're the bestest team in the country and have a superstar QB. Or does that only count when they beat middling SEC teams like LSU and Ole Miss?

For the last 20 years the SEC has had a couple of elite teams and a lot of guys making up the numbers. They don't have any elite teams this year. The BIG10 has had OSU and occasionally Michigan. Nebraska ain't scarin' anybody.
