    Hiring a HC / GM is like the Draft. It's a crapshoot. The best Co-ordinators don't always make the best HCs, that hot Assistant GM isn't always the best choice for GM. Tepper needs to hire a consultant and get the f' out of the way.

    No, 'for the best' would be sacking them both and giving the new GM a long(er) leash and carte blanche to hire his own HC. We have 6 Draft picks next year and Burns' situation to resolve. I absolutely don't want Fitterer involved in any of those decisions.

    Might as well at least make the Draft fun then and ask the fans to make the picks. You're wasting them by asking Fitterer to make them.

    No, I don't torment myself and watch any other football than the Panthers - and I didn't even watch us this week.

    Nothing shocking about it - the defence has been good all year. Evero's zones confused Stroud.

    I suspect this was the year for Sanders to strike while the iron was hot and build a good reputation. He's already on record as saying he's going to replace his entire OLine - who are all transfers, so have used up their 1-time transfer to go to Colorado. I think he's burned any good will he had with comments like that - and his team is getting it's head caved in too.

    We're genuinely not in a position to throw Draft picks away chasing a QB. Pick up the best FA QB and use your Draft picks to strengthen the miserable roster.

    Nah, pre-trade deadline I was screaming for the team to sit on its hands 'cos this is a lost season and we need to fire everyone in the Front Office (including all of the scouts).

    They actually built the roster in the offseason - new RB, new TE, 3 new WRs.

    To be fair we've never consistently drafted well. Our scouting has been a persistent problem.

    If he turned it down last time why would he say yes this time when you're saddling him with Bryce Young?
