    It's easy to call plays when you've got Mahomes as your QB. He's the best I've ever seen.

    I can name a 10th overall pick who was given up on after his rookie season. He was also the most 'pro ready' QB in his Draft.

    It would be idiotic to run it back with a QB just cos you spent the #1 overall pick on him when a 35 year old QB who the NFL thinks is washed (5 teams in 5 years) blew his performances out of the water in his 1 start.

    I'm baffled by their process. They strong armed a great coach out the door (admittedly he's 72) and didn't have someone immediately lined up to take over. I was sure they'd tampered with someone.

    This idea that our Plan B (when Young flames out) is 'gun to the head' "You must draft a QB in the first round of the 2025 Draft" is baffling.

    It wasn't a bad Oline in 2022 and they weren't bad receivers until they got here.

    Rhule has the right process for College. Much like Satan... sorry, Saban, found out. It doesn't work on millionaire athletes.

    I don't know if you've looked at the '25 QB Draft class, but it's not the year to want a QB.

    I think we need a veteran QB to steady the ship while we try to stop the bleeding. Asking Nix / McCarthy / Penix to come in at 33 and start winning straight away is foolish.

    We scored 0 points in the final 2 games. How did he learn and improve again? I've never known such a poor player get so much support.

    Last year, yes. He was practically begging for the job. This year we had zero chance. He knows better than to hitch his wagon to Bryce Young.

    I'm in the same boat - can only hope Morgan has fired him as his first act in charge. Hated the interview Suleiman gave last offseason (when we were getting ALL the coverage as the holder of the #1 overall pick) where he talked about scouting players. You're the Salary Cap guy, my guy. Stay in your lane.

    I mean the best GM of recent years was also a HoF TE. Doesn't mean Morgan will be good.

    It's both. The eye test said don't draft him (small, noodle arm, stacked roster at Alabama). The measurables said don't draft him (5'10", 185lbs). We now have empirical evidence in hard and fast numbers that he isn't an NFL player - yet still they call for him to start next season. It's maddening.

    But they HAVE spent their resources on trying to create some sort of offence. FA signings in Hurst, Sanders, Thielen, Chark and a second round pick on Mingo. They were not bad players when we acquired them.
