  1. We have many needs. I am fine shoring up the defense which obviously has to happen. I just want to see a fresh QB room in 2025. Give the fans some damn hope.
  2. I'm not using the word elite for any college QB that hasn't played in the NFL yet that's just me. I'm not eliminating any QB prospects this early. I like Ward's potential. That's it. If we somehow get the first pick we have to heavily consider QB. Now if we get a legit haul level offer from a team looking to trade up then I would accept that. I'm fine drafting a QB later if need be depending on how the draft falls. But we absolutely need to add one in the first 3 rounds. This QB room has to be purged in the offseason.
  3. I'd much rather take a shot on the guy that can make all the throws than this factory of sadness that is Bryce Young at QB.
  4. You're declaring Cam Ward to be not a franchise QB in October before the draft yet you've spent months carrying water for Bryce Young. Pretty weak bro.
  5. What other information can you give us about the future since apparently you're a fortune teller?
  6. That poster in question is hiding their true motives for not wanting to draft another QB. They are and have been staunchly pro Bryce Young.
  7. Depends on the QB in question. Regardless of the rest of the roster the entire QB room needs to be reset. And as bad as the defense has been the truth of the matter is you're going to be hard pressed to get high quality defensive starters to continue buying in with the QB play we've had. Eventually guys are going to start making business decisions when your starting QB is absolutely no threat to throw the ball down the field. It's that simple.
  8. Pretty much my friend. I'm out for a nice pleasant walk listening to radio coverage of the game just for laughs. The only plus is Luke and Delhomme are here chiming in with some nuggets of information.
  9. He's also throwing downfield with confidence. I don't even know what it feels like to have a QB like that anymore.
  10. You have to start Plummer after the half. But the Panthers hate their fans so I expect more Bryce Young.
  11. Yup and those people are on a milk carton now.
  12. Exactly. Our season is over. Take some chances and see what you've got. Use this opportunity to develop some semblance of a deep passing game to carry into next season.
  13. Still can't throw downfield. Tired of this limp dick football.
  14. Yup either Bryce successfully pushes the ball downfield or it's more of the same. That's the only thing I need to see. And as i finish typing this the Broncos QB has already thrown a 38 yard pass downfield......
  15. We would have to give their GM a heavy amount of edibles to even consider it.
  16. I'd love to see it. But for him to not only look "better" (nowhere to go but up from one of the worst ever) but like a real bonafide franchise QB and take back the starting job would be one of the more improbable turnarounds in sports history. We'll see.
  17. Oh come on with the melodrama man let's be two real adults here. He's sitting on 38 million dollars guaranteed no matter what happens. He's been handed starting gigs since high school. Nobody is out to get Bryce Young. He wanted to be the #1 pick. He sat out the combine in order to ensure he would be in this position. He gamed the system. He got what he wanted and this is what comes with the territory. Mentioning Bryce in the same sentence as Cam in this aspect is honestly disrespectful and you of all people should know better. Bryce Young has never in his life had to go through the adversity that Cam Newton did before he even got to Auburn. Bryce has had the absolute best to work with since high school and has walked his way into starting positions on some of the best teams. Cam Newton conversely had to work his ass off just to shed the reputation of being a bad person for little more than a simple mistake over a laptop. Then he had to EARN his way back to being a starter. He proceeded to carry an Auburn team to a championship win. He was a champion through and through not just on the field but in life. That's why it was a culture shock for him. I have no idea why I'm having to explain this difference to you considering all your bluster over Cam Newton through the years. In actuality and we've had this discussion before and you usually change the subject or take off but CJ Stroud is actually the correct comparison for Cam Newton as far as predraft treatment and overall perception of him and his character goes. Bryce Young in no way shape or form fits that bill. He's had every excuse afforded to him for a long time and been treated like royalty. Now people are acknowledging his shortcomings and while I sympathize with him on a personal level. Again I emphasize. He wanted this. He got it. All anyone has ever wanted to see is him display himself worthy of the selection. Myself included. 🫳
  18. There can be multiple things true at one time. The Panthers can be an awful organization ran by the Tepper's. And Bryce Young can always have been doomed as a starting QB in this league regardless of destination. The biggest thing about Bryce aside from everything he lacks on the field is he has absolutely no fire in his belly or a chip on his shoulder. That will get you a bust at #1 overall regardless of extenuating circumstances.
  19. These injuries so early in the season are too much to overcome. Just have to wait it out for another week or two.
  20. It's a pipe dream of course. If that ends up bupkis we'll have to sign one of the veteran FA's next year. There's a few options but nothing to get too excited about. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/_/year/2025/position/wr/sort/contract_value
