I just don't understand the desire to add players who are disgruntled on teams that are not as bad as us to this volatile situation and thinking we aren't going to eventually end up in the same conundrum. Whether it's Adams Jeudy or whoever. If they're available it's for a reason.

For one thing he's already 30. For another I have no idea why he would even consider or want to play here.

It's amusing that folks want to go to the mat for Wilson. He definitely had some dynamic ability as a passer in his best days. But the man had a horseshoe up his ass most times. So many prayers thrown up and hauled in via acrobatic catches. The one Super Bowl win to his credit was against a Broncos team that was probably the worst I've ever seen in any modern SB. That was a laughably lopsided game from the first snap. The one where he actually had to win it on his own they lost trying to give him all the glory. One of the most hilarious things I've ever seen. Ultimately he was undoubtedly talented. But fairly overrated.

If he fails the team fails and is set back at least the next two or three years. So your stance is there are people who want the team to remain a failure? One could argue we should be able to discuss what improvements are needed with any player on the roster without people interjecting and suggesting they just want the team to suck.

College highlights don't matter now. This is like if Cleveland Browns fans were posting highlights of Johnny Manziel in college when things weren't looking good early on.

I would heavily consider that offer for Burns but I would hold him his value will be just as high in the offseason and more teams will be sniffing around. I wouldn't give up more than a single 5th or 6th for Jeudy. He's lazy and can't be bothered to give a damn about the team that drafted him. Why do we want him or think he will change his ways here of all places again?

I agree with most of your points you touched on about billionaires and the elite class. I don't wade into it much because it's a futile effort the system is built to be exploited and manipulated by those in power in this structure and that won't change in our lifetimes. Back to football. The losing is having a fog effect on all of us I'd say that's why every thread eventually becomes tense and people let out their frustrations. It's perfectly fine I'd rather people do that here than other places or in other ways. It's good to vent. We've been through the ringer. With Tepper I fear his impulsiveness could make this volatile situation even worse if that's somehow possible. Wherever he goes from here in regards to Reich's future or the next coach he has to remove himself from the equation some. Nothing will get better without that no matter who we hire next. We've argued for years over what ultimately amounted to inane issues this is just another one. We can't control any of it regardless. I respect your passion for your team it's good that you're fired up. We lost a ton of bandwagoners through the last 4 years or so. Loyal fans who have stuck through it all deserve better than this. Cosell was up and down on Cam but unless you can cite the article or video in question I can't help with that. Newton's footwork is what kept him from consistently reaching that level he did in 2015. I'll concede that every single time. It's a shame but it happens. He definitely lacked touch on certain throws too. He relied on his physicality probably to a fault. But when he was on what a sight to behold. All we have now are highlights. Oh absolutely he was useless at screens. But when he first entered the league things hadn't yet changed to what we see now with a larger emphasis on short passes. That just wasn't his game at Auburn and he was never good at it in the NFL. It just is what it is.

Why don't we just agree that the stakes have changed and Tepper has worn out his free passes that some people extended to him? He did indeed have some apologists.
