I think there's a good chance we end up drafting two quarterbacks in the next three to four years if we are indeed spurned by Watson. We aren't in a position to be picky so might as well get used to less desirable options if we can't convince good QB's to come here via trade or FA.

So just how low is our staff on the two wide receivers we drafted last year? They barely got playing time even when we were out of it and now we are signing random receivers off the bottom of other rosters.

There are no QB's without risks. We are attempting to trade the farm for one who has looked everywhere he can to avoid settling for us. If we take a shot on one in this draft he is and should be a top option.

Chubba is alright but yeah he had bricks for hands. To me that was only part of the issue. We had actually a decent run game in 2020 with Mike Davis. If we were going to draft an RB that should have been the type we were looking for to spell a back like McCaffrey. Instead we drafted one in similar style. That's one more knock for this staff. Though they seem to be at least recognizing some things like that now but that could be because other people are making decisions.

This man has been on the team less than 24 hours and is already doing more to help than some of the highest paid players.
