I don't know why anyone expected much different from these lists. They are largely based on name recognition and what each team did the year before. Few people in the sports media realm are going to give this team the time of day until the Panthers flip the narrative on it's head. Just how it is.

It seems like he's inferring that more in terms of QB3 not a Dalton replacement. And let's be real. Dalton is 37 and missed multiple games for a thumb sprain. At the end of the day I like Andy the person but I give zero fugs about that. The Saints moved on quick fast and in a hurry and we mock them mercilessly for their QB situation. We need to at least try to be consistent here.

Right but that's a low bar

Hung? Bruh. This man has $113 million in career earnings. He's living his best life and we are helping him. Legitimately some of these convos are too reminiscent of the Jerry Richardson just happy to be here years. But at least back then we had a winning season almost every other year. It's weird some of you are going to such lengths to talk about killing someone when all anyone wants is a QB who isn't cheeks.

The Read Optional:Was Bryce Young's leap for real?
frankw replied to lumbeecheraw75's topic in Carolina Panthers
We are 4th in the league in OL spending. Either way we are doing more for the overall group than we have in many years. -
9th highest paid backup QB for 2025.

Rustling huddle jimmies on a Friday night eh? In all seriousness I would prefer not to go backward. But Andy Dalton is unequivocally not it. So it should be a priority to at least attempt to upgrade Jack Plummer.

Sounds like a nice day for our young pass catchers. Can't read into it but growth is growth. It would be a welcomed relief to see a more competent perfomance from the whole team on Saturday too.

Moore is not an irreplaceable piece. If Jimmy is performing well enough where it's a question between the two of them you go with youth.
-
Sorry I'm used to identifying any mention of the name Horn with automatic caution. Jimmy could be an improvement. Honestly have no idea why they put green Etienne out there returning a punt before him.
-
They gotta do what they gotta do with the new rules in place. It's the new norm for now unfortunately.

Brother you're unwell. Emojis can't hide it. Get some help.
-
They definitely have had some bad luck but two things can be true and it certainly seems Daboll is in over his head at this point.

Once again. Early in the AM you're all pissed off pooing posts. Calm down. You know there isn't a poo reaction for life right? You gonna poo the world if and when the Panthers season inevitably derails again this fall? It's not even late August and you're ready to spontaneously combust. Slow down. You did the same thing last year. You were toxic to anyone skeptical in the leadup to the first two games then you went missing. This can't be healthy for you or your family. Again. Good luck.
-
Honestly I think you need to assess how healthy some of this is for you given how you have weaponized the poo reaction in less than a week. You seem pretty toxic. Best of luck with that bud.

Alternate between Renfro and Blackshear for now. Simply not muffing the punt is the current goal. As far as Horn goes I'd prefer to not tempt fate with that one given our investment.
-
Don't tell that to folks like Icege who continually go out of their way to shine his shoes.
-
The special teams are judged as a complete unit. We can kickoff but we still can't field a punt. When we can successfully do both I'll feel better.

We accept any and all clicks here sir your contribution is appreciated. The conversation boils down to some people have a different level of expectations. The losing has created a faction of fans who are content with anything that isn't outright atrocious or worst in the league. An understandable position given some of what we've endured over the years. Then there is the other faction who know that we have only had two long term starting QB's in 30 years of history. There have been brief mirages like Matt Moore and Kyle Allen for example which is why it's very important to get a larger sample size. And while both Cam and Jake had their flaws (that were also discussed and beaten to a bloody pulp here) they undoubtedly elevated the team around them and had an undeniable (before injuries of course) ability to put the ball generally wherever they wanted to as passers. That's the QB we need for the future. I don't care who it is. But when I see it consistently I'll know it and rejoice accordingly. But that's going to take us being competitive and winning games when it matters.
-
Yeah the league changed Cam for the worse after that Super Bowl and they drove it home entirely in the 2016 season opener in Denver. They did not want him in any way shape or form becoming one of the faces of the league. In large part I think this was a contributing factor in how Cam went out of his way to stand out and be unapologetically himself. He was giving the league office the middle finger. And I say good. F*ck them.

I do agree he has a quality basketball IQ. He also has the prerequisite talent in spades. The issue is and you can see this with his brother Lonzo. They just aren't motivated to get on the court. It's not that they don't play hard or that they aren't competitive. They just don't seem to have much if any drive to get to the mountain top which is a playoff run and competing for a championship. Just the experience of playing and making a boatload of money seems to be enough. That's never going to be a player you can build around. Like you say that's your second or third best player on a playoff team. But not the singular core guy everyone else looks to.

Media touting tonight as The Shedaur Show
frankw replied to Puresteel55's topic in Carolina Panthers
The Browns are a historically bad organization but they seem to at least have the right idea about legitimate competition at the most consequential position. -
That's certainly a take.

Also I see you slinking around here af 6 am spamming poo reactions @Icege Don't you have a family?

Say it with me slowly. Sustainability. That's what we are waiting to find out with Bryce. What parts of his game are and are not sustainable. If you disagree with me about his rushing that is your prerogative.
