  1. When the Panthers start making great decisions that turn into great moves they will begin to get the benefit of the doubt on certain things. Until then this is the norm. Just labeling any and all skepticism as hate is silly. Welcome to the real world.
  2. Settle down I'm not arguing he's too old to be a Punter. I'm simply offering information. But it's clear that the team will be planning on going younger at the position in the upcoming future. And that's a good thing.
  3. Oh good grief. You can give him credit for the good without just glossing over the bad and pretending like we were not absolute hot garbage at certain points last season when the games still mattered and people were just complaining to complain. Make no mistake. While we hold Morgan in regard and like him a great deal because he's a former franchise player. He has to prove he can build this team through the draft just as much as any Panthers coach or player has to prove it out there on the field. There is nothing wrong with acknowledging these plain truths.
  4. I'm willing to accept gambling on overpaying for the defensive line but overpaying for a safety that's meh in coverage is not one of my favorite moves thus far. But hopefully this all works out. Then again this is the Panthers we're talking about.
  5. Oh wow that's a pleasant surprise. Great news for our depth.
  6. Panthers have done this under Fitterer ultimately at a waste. We have a top ten pick. Take a top talent at 8 and keep it pushing. This trying to be the smartest guy in the room act is what got Scott Fitterer in trouble in every draft.
  7. Same age as Hekker. Based on what I just read on Bills reddit he's been largely average to below average numbers wise. I assume we'll be looking for a long term solution in the not so distant future. Now to see who our place kicker will be.
  8. Everything hinges on his ability to build through the draft so it's unknown until we see the upcoming draft class in action. That's all that will ultimately matter. We cannot afford anymore duds or projects especially in the early rounds.
  9. On paper we've made improvements no doubt. Especially along the DL which is what I wanted. But we have paid a lot of money to do so. I'm in prove it mode with Evero currently. We need progress big time. No excuses.
  10. Considering what he brings to the table and what we were expecting to pay that's a really good value. Nice.
  11. I understand and definitely haven't forgotten our mismanagement of the cap it's become a Panthers tradition. At the same time this all still hinges on Morgan's ability to draft well either way. Let's just hope Tillis involvement in the process is a big help.
  12. I get the apprehensive approach from some people but these guys we are signing along the DL are all young with their best years ahead of them. I like that we're investing in the trenches. One thing for sure. Evero won't have any excuses this year. He's getting plenty of help.
  13. Moehrig is young and has potential but the Raiders let him walk and turned around and signed Chinn who is only 2 years older for $16 million. He's going to have to be really good here to justify the money.
  14. Just paste the url and hit enter and it will embed itself.
  15. 3 years 21 million that can go up to 27 million with incentives. So 7 million per season. Looks good.
  16. He's young he's big and he has a good name. Hopefully profit.
  17. He's young he could end up being a great signing who knows. But in one day we have spent 151 million dollars on the secondary and we are now relegated to signing prove it guys like this in the trenches. We really need a fantastic draft.
  18. After what we witnessed last season defensively I think you're going to have a very tough time selling people on this because the body of work isn’t lining up with the hype. At this point the onus is on Evero to prove his viability.
  19. Looking like we'll be drafting for need on the DL. Not sure a desperate Dan Morgan is a good thing.
  20. I look forward to seeing Darnold meltdown as a Seahawk. All the same good for him.
