Hurts was absolute ass yesterday. Definitely outplayed by Bryce.

Welp boys... We might actually win Sunday

This bet would've made a lot more sense early in the season. Panthers have all of a sudden become a tough out, which is enough to make betting against them a nervy affair. -
I thought your answer held unreasonable expectations, so I questioned it. I guess all those QBs stunk against the Eagles since they didn't meet your threshold. I can say that my threshold for a successful franchise QB is 5,000 yards passing and get on my high horse and scoff at anyone saying it's unrealistic because they just have too low standards but that's not very productive is it?

Didn't Tepper try to force Ron to move to a 3-4? I may be misremembering, but if that's the case I doubt we're moving away from a 3-4 anytime soon. -
If Bryce did this against the Eagles would Frank eat crow? Inquiring minds want to know.
-
Alright, here's an incomplete list of QBs that have not hit 300 passing yards against the Eagles this year: Jordan Love Kirk Cousins Joe Burrow Jaden Daniels Matthew Stafford Lamar Jackson You're saying that the minimum you will accept is better than all of those QBs. Are these really your standards?
-
Lamar threw for 237 and 2 TDs against the Eagles yesterday btw.
-
You'll have to quantify what "lights them up" means for this to have any weight. Give me a Bryce stat line that will have you eating crow.

None of our problems are the sole fault of one individual player.
-
I get what you're saying, and to a large extent I agree, but I'm not sure what our #1 overall pick is supposed to do when good/great throws are hitting WRs/TEs in the hands and they're dropping them. That's been the state of things these last 3-4 weeks. I'm not sure why you're on this crusade to defend every player on this team not named Bryce Young from criticism as if Bryce is the one and only problem on this team.

If you wanted Danny Dimes here’s the chance

He'll be a Titan, Jet, or Brown next year -
This is like a throwback to an alternate universe where Jerry had the field designed the way it should've been.

He asked to be released. We did the same to Baker when he asked. -

I have a feeling that all the buzz around us potentially signing him is just baseless speculation centered around the fact that he's from Charlotte. I'm choosing to believe Canales knows better until proven otherwise. -

Carolina may not "be sold" on young (per athletic)

Fields is a FA next year. -
This same dynamic occurs when European soccer teams come play in the US on their preseason tours. You'll see jerseys of almost every club and national team in the world lol.

I think the issue is that the yardage that Bryce is averaging is not indicative of sustained success, which makes the last two wins look like flukes, rather than a trend. A win is better for building morale and establishing a winning culture, but if you're purely trying to evaluate if your QB is the guy, then a 300 yard game, even if it's a loss, is more helpful than a 150 yard game that happened to be a win. And to answer your question, I think you've gotta average a lot more YPG than 117, Bryce's current average, for the yardage to be no longer an issue. You could double his YPG and it'd still just put him at 14th in the league.
