  1. Two receivers returning: Commanders are re-signing WR KJ Osborn to a one-year deal. Steelers are re-signing WR Scotty Miller to a one-year deal. Deals negotiated by Drew Rosenhaus and Robert Bailey.
  2. As much as I would love any number of these star players on other teams, we need to be realistic here. We aren't going to fill all of our needs, wants, and dreams in one off-season. Some have been saying all off-season, we likely aren't going to get a WR1 this off-season. We need to upgrade some starters here and there and upgrade depth everywhere. Be smart about our cap and our draft capital for a change. We aren't 2 players away, let alone 1.
  3. Free-agent cornerback Isaac Yiadom is signing a three-year deal with the New Orleans #Saints, per agent @ajv. New Orleans has been on the hunt for an additional DB, land on Yiadom
  4. I surely do, Trask was supposed to have learned how to be the next GOAT from Brady according to whoever that was
  5. STEELERS SIGN A QB The Steelers have signed a QB, but it's not the one you're thinking of, so sorry if I got you excited. Mason Rudolph has agreed to a two-year, $8 million deal that includes $4.5 million in guaranteed money, according to NFL Media. Rudolph is returning to the Steelers, the team that made him a third-round pick in 2018. He will presumably be serving as the backup to the starting QB that the Steelers have yet to sign.
  6. Pass-rush help for Philadelphia: Eagles reached agreement today on a one-year deal with former Chiefs free-agent LB Joshua Uche, who now will try to help replace Josh Sweat and Brandon Graham. Deal negotiated by Drew Rosenhaus and Kyle Lincoln.
  7. to think we might actually have a staff smart/competent enough to play the compensatory pick game
  8. ESPN gives Panthers near-perfect grade for Rico Dowdle signing "The Panthers are spending this offseason, which means they might not be spenders next offseason. As a result, they might give Dowdle some run this season, let him walk in free agency and pick up a late-round compensatory pick for him," Walder said. "This deal is cheap enough that they can think about that type of thing." He also noted that the Panthers can always flip Dowdle at the deadline. As a starter for a bad Cowboys team, he rushed for over 1,000 yards. The Panthers' offensive line is stout, and it could push his value so high that the Panthers can get something for him next year. https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/news/espn-panthers-near-perfect-grade-rico-dowdle-signing
  9. "It’s a tricky spot for Cincinnati to be in—finding a team to give up a premium pick and $30 million (or more) per year for a 31-year-old pass rusher isn’t easy," Breer wrote. "Hendrickson’s camp at one point told the Bengals they could bring home a first-rounder for him, but that hasn’t happened." After Cleveland Browns edge-rusher Myles Garrett signed a four-year, $160 million extension—with an NFL-record $123 million in guaranteed money for a non-quarterback—Cincinnati's negotiations will only get more difficult. Despite posting back-to-back 17.5-sack campaigns, one of the biggest hurdles for Hendrickson will be his age, as he’s set to turn 31 next season.
  10. "The asking price for Trey Hendrickson was also very high," Wolfe said on Wednesday. "The Bengals are asking for a first-round pick and more I was told and teams are waiting that out and hoping that that market drops a little bit when the Bengals come down and maybe they can get that top pass-rusher." https://bleacherreport.com/articles/25170132-trey-hendrickson-trade-rumors-bengals-seek-1st-round-nfl-draft-pick-more-deal
  11. Patriots to release Andrews, longtime center and team captain The New England Patriots are making a change at center that involves one of their franchise pillars over the last decade. David Andrews, an eight-time captain and two-time Super Bowl champion, will no longer be part of the team as the Patriots plan to release him Thursday, multiple sources told ESPN.
  12. Panthers TE Tommy Tremble says Bryce Young was one of the better QBs in the league the latter part of the 2024 season and that stability made the decision to return a lot easier.
  13. Here are the top players in Matt Bowen's top 100 rankings who haven't yet signed. Bowen's rankings factor in age, positional value, expected future production, scheme versatility and buzz around the league: Cam Robinson, OT Rasul Douglas, CB Stefon Diggs, WR Mekhi Becton, G Amari Cooper, WR
  14. Saints restructure contracts of two veteran defenders New Orleans Saints veterans Cameron Jordan and Tyrann Mathieu have reworked the final years of their respective deals to stay with the team, according to sources. The Saints negotiated a new deal with Mathieu that is play time incentive-based. Jordan reworked his deal on Wednesday and put a post on on social media afterward celebrating Year 15 in the NFL. -- Katherine Terrell, Saints reporter
  15. We would also have to pay Hendrickson big money as well.
  16. Jets release Pro Bowl LB Mosley FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- Former Pro Bowl linebacker C.J. Mosley, who signed a record-setting contract with the New York Jets in 2019, was released Wednesday amid the team's continuing offseason purge. General manager Darren Mougey and coach Aaron Glenn, both newly hired, already have released three big names -- Mosley, quarterback Aaron Rodgers and wide receiver Davante Adams. Rodgers and Mosley were captains last season.
  17. The Bucs have agreed to terms with Kyle Trask on a one-year deal, per source.
  18. Free agent wide receiver Mike Williams has agreed to a deal with the Los Angeles Chargers, the team announced Wednesday night. The sides agreed to a one-year deal worth up to $6 million, a source told ESPN's Kris Rhim, confirming a Fox Sports report. It marks a return to Los Angeles for the 30-year-old Williams, who spent the first seven years of his NFL career with the Chargers. They selected him with the seventh pick in the 2017 NFL draft out of Clemson.
  19. Free agent quarterback Mac Jones, who wanted an opportunity to work with coach Kyle Shanahan, has agreed to terms with the San Francisco 49ers on a two-year deal worth $7 million with $5 million guaranteed, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Wednesday. Jones, 26, appeared in 10 games last season for the Jacksonville Jaguars, including seven starts in place of an injured Trevor Lawrence. He completed 65.3% of his passes for 1,672 yards and eight touchdowns, along with eight interceptions. The Jaguars went 2-5 in his starts, averaging just 15 points per game. Jacksonville sent a 2024 sixth-round pick to the New England Patriots last March for Jones, who grew up in Jacksonville. He beat out C.J. Beathard in training camp to be Lawrence's backup.
  20. Cam Jordan back for another year The longtime Saints defensive end isn't done yet. He played a career-low 48% of snaps last season but once again played all 17 games. He should be a mainstay for the New Orleans defense, even if his role shrinks again.
  21. Source: Former Pro-Bowl guard Kevin Zeitler is signing a one-year $9 million deal with the Tennessee Titans.
  22. #Lions have re-signed DT Levi Onwuzurike as first reported by @RapSheet. It's a one-year deal for $5.5 million.
