  1. You are correct. He got hit a second after he released the ball so it would've been a sack. This goddamn O-Line... smh.
  2. Garbage time....TO THE COWBOYS, not to us. And that decision almost came back to bite them in the ass.
  3. Speaking of insight, from the same article : The coaches’ dialogue with Darnold is also role-specific. Quarterbacks coach Sean Ryan, who has worked with Eli Manning, Watson and Stafford, talks with Darnold about scheme and technique. Brady has an even bigger hand on the scheme conversations. Rhule takes a macro approach, discussing situational football, strategy and leadership tactics. No one can say now that Sam isn't getting any real coaching.
  4. Not much better because of the decision by Quinn to go Prevent and take Diggs out of the game. I mean those two TD drives basically negated the two INTs by Sam.
  5. So...which team does Trevor Lawrence end up with after 4 years?
  6. I don't know what it is but I think Sam, to me, seems to be the type of person who would not ask for the Moon here. It's his Agent we need to watch out for. (does he have an agent?)
  7. If you recall against the Texans, that after the CMC injury where they played like sh-t toward the end of the 2nd quarter, the 3rd quarter they did alright and Sam rose to the occasion. Maybe Rhule needs to not to tell them they're doing a good job at Halftime. He needs to tell them that we are only up one point and that was because their FG kicker pulled a Joey Slye on the XP. If we don't get our sh-t together, we will LOSE! Now maybe he did do that and they still came out flat, I don't know.... Is it lack of urgency? Lack of proper gamecalling on both sides of the ball? Or , like someone suggested, not making proper adjustments ahead of time to circumvent whatever adjustments the opponent makes? That may be true but this has happened in all but one game(the Texans game where CMC got hurt) and it comes to a point where you can't just say "oh. It's all Sam's fault that the Team played like sh*t" or something. It's the Coaching staff's job to make sure the team is READY TO PLAY in the 3rd. It's Sam's job to play QB and make good throws (That's the only thing he's in control of).
  8. I don't think Dan Quinn expected SAM DARNOLD to make that comeback after he inexplicably went to a Prevent AND took Diggs out. I think he thought that 2020 Sam Darnold would rear its fugly head 'cause he thought the Cowturds broke him or something. I think if the Cowturds went 3-and-out when there was over 4 minutes remaining after Sam threw his 2nd TD, Quinn would've went back to the regular defense and have to put a rested(but now cooled-off) Diggs back in.... His decision almost came back to bite him in the ass and no one can convince me otherwise on that.
  9. I think Brady needs work on his gameplanning for the 3rd quarter. 'Cause it can't be ALL on Sam (though some of it definitely falls on him). Just think...if there was no Halftime, the 3rd quarter would mirror the other quarters. LOL!
  10. They also had the refs in their pocket that allowed their O-Line to commit "Holding penalties" that aren't called. Did you forget that the entire game that line did not commit ONE penalty? LOL! What a joke.
  11. I don't feel like talking sh-t after the Cowturds game. The only thing I will say is that we will bounce back and win.
  12. Is it telling that I, being probably the biggest Sam supporter here(sorry usctrojan), could recognize from the get-go that you were pretty happy for the most part at Sam's peformance thus far, AND gave out some constructive criticism on what he needs to improve upon? I mean...yeah...in the past you were extremely skeptical(to say the least) about him but in this thread, It seems he is slowly-but-surely winning you over as Panthers QB. You're not like TLG who won't accept Sam no matter what he does. So hats off to you, man.
  13. Yep. Some of them said he looked like Shrek. Others say he looks like the LEGO Cop(whatever that means) because of the shape of his chin or something. Really petty sh-t.
  14. Damn. I think that was a case of Sam listening to his coach a bit too much, if that makes any sense.
  15. Yeah. Not sure what he was looking at with the 1st INT but that was bad. The 2nd one was just a good play by Diggs.
  16. I think those naysayers are just wanting Sam gone because they wanted the team to draft Justin Fields and they're forever throwing a temper tantrum because of it.
  17. Unfortunately, Sam doesn't have much time to "undo" the last 3 seasons. He has to show constant improvement by the time this season is done or his future won't be here but elsewhere...as a career backup. Yes I know they picked up his option for the 5th year but it's this season that will determine if an extension is warranted.
  18. I'd prefer they don't get any freedom at all as most of us don't purposely go to their board and sign up just to talk sh*t....but I get your overall point.
  19. About the refs, I don't think they'll provide the same "help" to the Vikings that they did for the Cowboys. And it's that reason that a victory isn't out of the realm of possibility. It will be tough but it's still doable to get a win.
  20. Okay then what about the Cowboy fans who purposely sign up here just to TROLL?
  21. ^^^ So we're looking for style points here instead of actual points by our QB? A TD is still worth 6 whether it's by air or by foot. And last I checked, having more points than the opponent after the clock reaches 00:00 in the 4th quarter is the goal of any NFL team. The fact that Sam has contributed to 10 TDs (with 5 of them on the ground) is the mark of a Good QB who does whatever it takes to get his team into the endzone. And I don't give a rat's ass about a certain someone's viewpoint of what a QB is supposed to play like. I would rather he run for 5 TDs than throw 5 INTs or get sacked 5 times in the redzone trying to find the open man.
