  1. CJ vs GA. This has probably been posted before and I'm just starting it now, but it's going to be more detailed than McCowns kinda fluffy Scheme vids. I don't always agree with who this guy blames for bad plays but he does the most thorough game breakdowns.
  2. He's pointing out the 2" sneaker soles..It's like Tom Cruise shoes
  3. Same. It's not like it's the top 2 DE's or something. It's the face of the franchise. You don't get this coaching staff of QB experts for them to say "we liked both, either would do". How do you think that QB and the other guys in the locker room would feel about that? I would be offended if Fitt and Reich came out in the presser after trading back 1 spot and said "we liked both so we let the Texans pick their favorite so we could get an extra 2nd rounder". What if you do the trade and then the Texans trade #1 to the Colts last minute and they take our guy? We'd look like fuging morons
  4. I think the most fair relevant size comparison would be PJ Walker. 5'11" and 215. Dunno if Bryce can put on a legit 15-20 pounds to get there but I didn't think PJ's size/height was his biggest issue. PJ didn't play like he was 2" shorter than Baker. For the record I've been sold on Stroud since the Georgia game
  5. All I've seen is it's a 2 year deal, dunno if that includes reworking this year or literally two more years added. OTC's extension option says it would clear $9M but dunno how they came up with that math because it doesn't say how many years their hypothetical extension would be.
  6. He played at 240 in 2016, not sure if 230 or 240 is the biggest deal in the world since he's only 6' tall. That's pretty stocky either way
  7. It's a lot different than a Sean Ryan type who never played the game
  8. Yeah literally the first thing they did when they got to the building
  9. It's more fun checking out the Saints board. No ones really saying it out in the open but I'm pretty sure they'd rather have the 1st pick in the draft and our staff than Carr and Dennis Allen lol. They all sound scared of Stroud
  10. Having $75M in cap space, it's good to have your QB and WR1 locked in so you can be aggressive in FA and throw money at Defense and O-line, then go BPA in the draft.
  11. Yeah I saw the news 3 hours late so I had to scroll back and find the details. I was assuming another 1st or at least another 2nd or 3rd from this year. At very least 39 instead of 61.
  12. No doubt, and all this dead cap from Rhule era deals will be gone. Clean slate as far as the old regime goes. Shaq is really the only bad contract left to deal with
  13. That's a nice number but let's take another look at it after free agency. If we get anyone legit it will be backloaded to the next couple years
  14. Yeah at least let him get healthy and see if another team gets an injury and needs a backup or something. He won't have any value until training camp
  15. Because you want to set a tone and let the whole team and fanbase know that you got the best Qb in the draft? Whether it works out or not is another story later down the line. Franchise QB has to do a lot more than just be equal talent on the field as well. It's not like 2 really good DE's going top 2 and either one are really good and don't have to talk to the media/lead the locker room and all that stuff every week
  16. Yeah why go all the way to #1 and then trade back one spot for an extra day two pick and then try to explain to the world that you were fine drafting either of the top 2 QB's? All they talk about is conviction, you moved to #1, say you moved up there for whichever QB you take and spend free agency getting guys that you think compliment their skill set. This move doesn't make sense if it doesn't involve already having your QB selected and building free agency around that game plan
  17. I don't see how they could risk trading down to 3 at this point. They have to put it out there that they are "in control of the draft" or whatever, but going back to 3 you aren't in control of anything anymore and just shuffled around a bunch of draft picks with no "conviction", their favorite word
  18. Yeah underrated list. I'm more into getting the best TE we can and spreading the ball out. Get Bozeman signed, get Foreman or Jamaal Williams at RB and we're good
  19. How else would you game plan against that Georgia D? Bryce's game in 2021 was called pretty similar, both guys made plays when they were given the opportunity. It really is gonna be splitting hairs between the two of them in my opinion. Bryce had to do more this past year with a weaker roster. CJ coasted against mediocre teams, but also had tougher weather games with crazy wind, all that has to go into consideration for both guys
  20. Eric Ebron is basically begging for a camp body contract as well. Can't hurt to have him at least mentor some guys for a couple months
  21. I don't recall Reich having anything particularly elite with the Colts besides Jonathan Taylor going crazy in 2021. Also 2105 we had Greg and a bunch of outcasts and had our best season. I think an actual TE has to be a priority, and drafting one seems like more of a gamble than WR
  22. Let's do it. For the "He always throws to wide open WR's" crowd, these aren't easy throws
