  1. Yeah if you're gonna do the lazy white wr comp Pearsall plays a lot more like Kupp than McConkey. Ladd dances around after the catch rather than turning upfield and taking on contact like the other two
  2. Patriots new HC lays out his philosophy to start next week as well. Seems like our all star coaching staff did exactly what he's trying to avoid, and come to think of it they seemed more focused on press conferences and media hype than grinding behind the scenes. Despite having the option to begin their program on April 2 — due to hiring a new head coach [Jerod Mayo] in the offseason — the Pats chose to delay their first day so that the several new faces on their coaching staff are congruous in both message and approach to the upcoming season. “Look, there’s still going to be time to put this thing together. As the staff continues to jell not only on the coaching side but also on the scouting side, as the team continues to gel, I just want to make sure that we as coaches are all on the same page before we get with the players,” Mayo said this week. “We’ve been a part of situations where you bring different coaches in and this guy has one philosophy, this guy has another philosophy. I just wanted to make sure that the coaches, the staff, we’re all on the same page going forward.”
  3. Why would Canales not take advantage of all the extra time allowed for new coaches?
  4. Bryce can't see anything, he needs route runners to get to their spots within 2.7 seconds so he can throw the ball to a spot and hope it doesn't get picked off by someone that's watched a bunch of tape. Legette would probably actually be worse than Mingo at getting open underneath. Very little separation even on his highlight reels
  5. Yeah, mixed with the getting the ball out within 2.7 seconds thing I just dunno if he'd get is fair share of targets here.
  6. Yup. BR scouting report is unkind. Many of Legette's pain points come down to refinement. He is not skilled at battling at the line of scrimmage, nor is he a developed route-runner who can mix up his approach to keep defensive backs guessing. He plays with a fairly straightforward approach. Additionally, Legette can struggle to work back to the ball and make himself friendly to the quarterback. That shows up most on timing routes or when Legette is running across the field and needs to attack the ball so defensive backs don't undercut the route. Legette is an intriguing prospect with size, adequate speed and ball skills. The concern is that Legette is not a dynamic mover, and he is still a work in progress when it comes to the finer parts of the position. Legette would be best in a play-action heavy system that enables his vertical ability and ball skills. GRADE: 7.1 (High-Level Backup/Potential Starter — 3rd Round) OVERALL RANK: 67 POSITION RANK: WR13 PRO COMPARISON: Kenny Britt
  7. Yeah dunno if he's gonna be the get the ball out in 2.7 seconds guy sitting on the board. We cannot afford for our top draft pick to be a project. I would go Darius Robinson over most of these wr's at 33
  8. Kinda like how we panicked and traded up to take DJ Johnson at 80, and then the Steelers took Nick Herbig with pick 132, the pick we traded to move up? lol. (7 hurries 2 forced fumbles and 3 sacks on 178 snaps)
  9. Sorry I forgot to type any throws past 20 yards or running play action under center. You know I didn't mean sneaks and hail mary's are 1/3 of a playbook
  10. At least you don't need to take MC off the field for qb sneaks or hail mary's. Trading up for a dude that takes away 1/3 of a playbook was wild
