I don’t understand the the hate on Tepper for Bryce getting benched

Ah. yeah it felt really stupid trading up for Corral when Howell was just sitting their at his spot

RUMOR: Bryce Young 'pissed' at being benched for Andy Dalton

Maybe he'll throw a very angry 15 yard interception in practice later -
I thought you were some smart genius rich guy, that's obviously a fake account
-
He definitely did the jump pass thing last year, Canales didn't teach him that lol

If he's pissed the benching was effective at least in the motivational aspect. Although him and Canales both said they don't thrive off negative motivation or something. I hope that was just off season BS fluff. Dalton made it clear that he's been give up on before and had to prove himself, Josey said it's a performance based business. Maybe they're just trying to give the kid a wake up call after all the coddling didn't work -
Bryce isn't the qb anymore. Dalton will appreciate the clean pocket

How did nobody catch this before drafting him?

BY doesn't even have Baker lowlights lol -
I was checking that out, looks like actual NFL football! Dalton looked so happy and confident yesterday, and everyone else interviewed seemed like they were like yeah it's a business. Almost all these dudes have been cut/traded/benched whatever. They overall showed no sympathy for Bryce aside from that it's a learning lesson. I'll be curious to read/hear about the vibe at practice tmrw, I wouldn't be shocked if Bryce isn't even there.

It's also along the lines of why they have to get so many Panthers "legends" to do all this social media for them. The team has no character so they rely on TD, Luke, Smitty, Delhomme, Greg etc to try and sugarcoat this mess. Tepper must be paying top dollar for that lol. -
I forgot Dalton and Thielen already had that game last year where Thielen had 145 yards and a td. Should be no problem for them to get something worked out with Diontae Johnson in a few practices.
-
Dalton probably has more left in the tank than Cousins or Rodgers honestly if people are worried about his arm strength, I thought Derek Carr was a sideways move for the Saints ever since that went down as well.
-
Dalton's barely thrown a ball since this, should be fresh. Bryce cannot do this. Defenses will have to play us different if we get a few of these

Texas V Alabama and Ohio St V Georgia is all anyone needed. These NFL scouts and offices need something to bullshit about for like 3 or 4 months prior to the draft though I guess. They majorly overthought it -
At least if it doesn't look like football it won't be a huge question mark as to why. I imagine Dalton watched the all 22 from Sunday and was like I got this. Then teams will adjust and we'll have to see if Canales can adjust etc etc
-
If we'd taken him later in the draft he would have gotten the Corral treatment already. He's only here because of the trade capital and guaranteed money. Or Dalton would have been starting like 10 games ago at the least

Ooh PFF has our pass blocking as #5 in the league wow....interesting nugget from this McAfee show
-
Yo maybe the former Bryce optimists can get on the Dalton wagon!?! Where did all the "root for my team no matter what!" guys go? At least Dalton seems excited to play and is feeling confident?
-
Yeah I don't see anyone trading for 3 years of $6m guaranteed right now for him to sit on their bench. IR him so he can go home, grab freaking Trevor Siemian for vet min and let him and Dalton run whatever Canales wants to run and see if the play calling is even good. We seriously have no clue if Canales is up to snuff in a competitive game once he has to deal with challenges, time outs, clock management, etc. He seems like an ultimate boom or bust HC/play caller. He doesn't need a work in progress like Howell right now
