Olsen didnt play very big. you rarely saw him just jump up and win a jump ball. If he got touched he was going down on first contact. he was really finesse like in his play. Robbie Anderson was the same way he played a small game even tho he was 6'3 DJ Moore played bigger than Anderson.

Agreed. But when is the last time we had a big rezone target? i mean even olsen is on the smaller finesse side of tight ends.

I'm implying that its usually a better idea to gamble on the guy with more dynamic traits than higher floor/pro readiness. Being able to run gives you a higher floor until you are able to to read defenses and develop the other side of the game. at the very least day 1 Willis gave you the read option threat that could be counted on day 1. Corrals strengths need to be honned and even now we still dont know if they translate.

you should want a dual threat. our most successful qbs have been dual threats as has been the case with most of the league. read option is dominate in the league right now and pocket passers arent doing so great.

yep... I was banging the table the loudest for willis this offseason while most of the conservative base screamed bust. at the least hes looking like a better 3rd round investment than Corral .

they said the same thing about Willis vs corral.. look where he is and look who is starting this Sunday.. always gamble on upside.

higher upside.. more physical ability. faster bigger threat to run. bigger arm. Hes better at almost everything except pro readiness and accuracy which can be developed. give me the things thay cant be coached and let the guys we hire do their job.

Mahomes is outliner meaning a qb taken at whereever he was pans out. you want to say that qbs taken number 1 only 3 have won a superbowl but the odds are skewed. only 1 teams out of 32 can win every year. on top of that your taking every qb not picked at 1 and counting them as a win for your argument. thats ridiculous. The qb taken a 1 has a greater chance at winning the super bowl than day qb taken at 15. or at 5 or at 7 and so on.

I dont think hes making a pro bowl level impact. but he is much better than last season.

mahomes is a outliner... just like brady. yeah ever 5 years you might find a guy like mahomes who has lofty potential and actually live up to it. but those are gambles that payoff. the more sure thing usually goes higher in the draft. not sure what point yout trying to make. what even a broken clock is right twice a day argument?

all draft classes are not created equal.butif you have a chance atthe best of the bunch you want that over whats left over.

it doesnt matter. pick your guy and having your choice is more important than leaving it up to the teams in front of you to miss.

i agree. people who say the number 1 pick doesnt matter are not very knowledgeable of the game. having your pick of the litter could be the difference between like u said cam or blaine.. or payton manning and ryan leaf... Get your guy first and not pick off the leftovers.

baker is bad. he misses throws and kills drives with an alarming amount of passes batted down at the line of scrimmage.

i mean its not rocket science. guy ran a 4.6 and is heavy. i dont imagine him shaking any corners off their coverage or blowing the top of any defenses. but 4.6 is adequate with his size in contact 1 on 1 situation. hes built for contact. personally he should be our number 2 rb.

agreed. we saw that on the first play the tried to get him the ball and the linebacker was just drapped on him. you will have to scheme him the ball. he wont be able to seperate on his own. weapon once the ball is in his hands tho.

not saying that. its about the value we gave up for him.
