  1. We can all read in to this what we want, IMHO (FWIW) is Rhule had no idea on how to draft a pro QB.
  2. Exactly. Remember Bellicheat was fired from Cleveland ( As far as people bringing up Steve Wilks and AZ).
  3. And their O line is basically all in intensive care, so we've got that going for us...
  4. I'll say one thing, some of the comments in this thread has me laughing my azz off.
  5. Then the Saints come in and snatch him up. Are we saying that the physicals aren't standardized throughout the league?
  6. Great point on QBs. Brees was close to a deal with Miami coming out of San Diego, but the Dolphins FO had a concern about his shoulder...the rest is history. You snooze you lose.
  7. ^^This^^. As I point out in a previous post,if y'all are looking for "Mother Teresa's" as owners, it ain't happening.
  8. Ok, I've just got to say, as fans we have an emotional and most times a financial investment to our teams. I certainly do. But, there's a couple ways to look at the Panthers current ownership. One we can come to the realization that Tepper is here like it or not and hope the guys on the the field play at a high level and win. Or-complain, which is our right to do. Remember most owners are not "Mother Teresa". Look , for example at Georgia Frontiere , she was the former owner of the LA/St. Louis Rams. Was a "socialite" (whatever that is) who married the former owner Carroll Rosenbloom. Rams fans remember her as a complete buffoon but somehow they won the Lombardi. Or Jack Kent Cooke former Washington owner during their glory years, who was an alleged wife beater and one of his subsequent wives was the former mistress of a Columbian cartel bigwig.....sweethearts all around.
  9. He's probably as reliable as the other Panthers " soothsayers" Sheena Quick and a girl that goes by the moniker "Verge".
  10. Agree 100%. I'm just saying based on the press conference, he's probably so embarrassed, that he'll go full out to finally fix things....hopefully.
  11. You got to wonder (and it's undeniable that Tep was highly pizzed during the news conference) at this point if/what he's going to do moving forward to "fix" things. A big chunk of the fanbase hates the guy, but I can't believe he's so stupid as to keep bringing in people who know nothing about how to run a FO. Maybe I'm overly optimistic, but I can't help to think that things can only get better. I also know it's popular among some here to spout off with "he's fugged up the team so bad that he'll move them to (insert- London, San Antonio, Taterboro Idaho here). Yeah, that will fix things move a losing team to another city as if that would solve the problem. If that worked the Lions/Browns/Jets would have been relocated a long time ago. This episode with Rhule and Rock Hill made Tepper looked bad and not just in our eyes, but the league.
  12. He'll have to have a come to Jesus meeting with MacAdoo to win that many games. Plus virtually everyone on that side of the ball will have to ball out.
  13. Petrino, Myer, Rhule... I'm seeing a pattern here.
  14. The Bidwells (AZ ownership family) make Ebenezer Scrooge look like Santa Claus.
  15. Sure there's certainly legal reasons, but I find it interesting that Tepper sidestepped the Rock Hill question.
  16. Tepper's impression of Charlotte music (being from Pittsburg of course)
  17. Anyone hear about Tepper going live at 3:45?
  18. At 6'6 Levis is certainly not a yard gnome that will constantly have balls batted down.
  19. Let's not do something like this^^ again. But, But the Super Bowl! Hell, give Sir Purr Steve Young, Jerry Rice and Tom Rathman and he could win a Super Bowl.
