I had misread at the time of that post and thought that both the HBCU Combine + Collegiate Bowl were in Bama. Looks like Glass chose the Collegiate Bowl (which was in Cali) and can still go to the NFL Combine. Also still waiting on a compiled list from the HBCU Combine. There's been a couple of tweets for some of the players that caught the eyes' of coaches but nothing thorough nor easily displayable.

Holy poo Sam's OL was terrible. I've watched UNC vs. Pitt, WF, Duke, and ND so far (wanting to watch NC State so that I can watch Ekwonu as well) and he was constantly under duress. The Liberty OL was supposed to be experienced but I read that their LG + RT dealt with injuries throughout the season. They look every bit the part of a bad OL tho.

Literally watching the game vs. Ole Miss right now and all it's doing is solidifying him and Corral as better prospects than Pickett for me. Corral looks like the cleaner of the two, but Willis' ceiling is clearly higher. His OL forgot they were playing that day from the looks of how it's played out so far. I noticed that Willis had 27 rushing attempts in the box score, which is likely a direct result of the OL play (further evidenced by the 9 sacks that he took, one of them coming on a 3-man rush). One of his picks came as a result of a WR giving up and getting stripped. The one that he had at the end of the first half though was really bad and made concerned me about his ability to read a defense. He had a man heading up the middle of the field that looked like the better option from the moment the snap occurred.

I'm trying so, so hard to not let myself hope. If this is followed up by signing Armstead to play LT and trading back to pick up Linderbaum to play center while also picking up a pick to gamble on a QB with...

Garbers is a great practice squad QB at best imo which is why I've got him as the #20 QB in my personal rankings. His stats + game footage are baaad.

THANK YOU I literally just posted yesterday in another thread about how Pickett and Burrow are not even remotely the same. Burrow put up elite stats AND film against elite competition. As much as Burrow had a great team surrounding him, Pickett had himself a fairly solid team as well. The Pittsburgh defense was #2 in sacks, #15 in 3rd down defense, tied for #8 in INTs (#1 in INT TDs), and #6 rushing defense out of all FCS teams. Jordan Addison is a very good WR and the Pitt OL played consistently well

To think... we were one selection away two years in a row from having Herbert/Sewell
-
Chase Garbers is fuging awful. How in the Hell do you have him as your #6? 100% agree with the last paragraph tho.
-
Both of them had probably the least effective OLs to work with as well. Out of the current QB prospects, Willis has been sacked the most (52) and Howell the second most (49). The UNC OL tied for allowing the most TFLs (94, Liberty's was 83). Nevada, South Dakota State, and Kent State's lines were bad as well.

Kenny Pickett's ceiling to me seems game manager QB1, really good QB2. Basically Teddy Bridgewater. Would rather see the team gamble on Willis, Howell, Corral, Glass, or Strong. The former 3 at #6, the latter 2 in the 2nd if the team can trade back and re-acquire a selection.

Is it really gonna happen?

ngl, if this goes to OT and the Bengals win the toss + score, I fully expect the NFL to revisit its postseason OT rules.
-
Ewww, idk about that 2nd down call. That would suck for the Chiefs to have to eventually settle for a field goal because they didn't just run the ball there.
-
What a play design + call. So long as the Chiefs keep fielding themselves a quality defense while building the offense around Mahomes, they're going to have a hell of a dynasty.
-
Mahomes is a living cheat code
-
This feels like an inevitable TD for the Chiefs.
-
smh, no call on the center holding the LB that jumped the snap.
-
I think that Reid is going to try and get this quickly across midfield to where they're knocking at the door of field goal range. Once they're, they'll slow down and methodically work towards first downs while taking shots at the end zone to try and prevent Burrow another shot at the ball. And theeeeere's the shot to Kelce.
-
If that's your intention, you're not communicating it well. It very much is coming across like you don't like him since you were insinuating that he was gambling (or going to inevitably gamble) on a drive that was clearly designed to drain clock.
-
Bengals doing all they can to drain clock while giving themselves enough time to get the ball back if KC scores.

OH MY GOD JOE

Woo boi, Burrow got away with one on that near pick.

What is Joe Burrow’s superior trait to Kenny Pickett?
Icege replied to FuFuLamePoo's topic in 2025 NFL Draft
Where are people getting this "Kenny Pickett is Joe Burrow" comparison? Is it because they had excellent senior years? Burrow threw for over 1350 more yards and nearly 20 more TDs while throwing less picks. His A/Y was 10.8 (12.5 AY/A) compared to Pickett's 8.7 (9.7 AY/A) and he had a completion percentage of 76.3% compared to Pickett's 67.2%. Burrow also ran for over 150 more yards for the same amount of rushing TDs. On top of that, Pickett's record lifetime at Pittsburgh vs. opponents that remained ranked at the end of the season was 3-7, with 2 of those wins coming in his senior year against Wake Forest and Clemson. Burrow was 7-0 in his senior year against top-25 opponents with Ws over Clemson (NCG), Oklahoma (Peach Bowl), and Georgia (SEC Championship). Against those three, Burrow averaged a 69.9% completion percentage, 435 yards passing, 40 yards rushing, 6 total touchdowns, 10.4 Y/A (12.8 AY/A). No picks nor fumbles. To put that last bit into perspective: Pickett's best game of his entire college career was arguably against Western Michigan where he went 23/31 (74.2%), 382 passing yards, 57 rushing yards, 6 passing TDs, 1 INT, 2 fumbles, and a 12.3 Y/A. Burrow threw for 50 more yards and had a 6:0 TD:TO ratio in postseason games compared to Pickett's 6:3 during his best game. Kenny Pickett isn't anywhere close to Joe Burrow's level. When Burrow played against elite comp, he stepped up. Pickett didn't. -
Still trying to find publicly listed HBCU Combine results. Will add as soon as I find something!
