I hate that we never could put a competent O-line in front of him throughout his career but I'm done watching Cam play QB. I just can't take it anymore, especially knowing how good he once was and how much he's regressed since. I tried to give him a chance then that WAS game pretty much confirmed all of my priors. He's not an NFL starter at this level IMO and I'd like to draft and develop someone either this draft or next.

Who the heck is Aaron Wilson? Who is his source? Anyways, if we really did hire an investigator then dang we are certainly interested. Don't feel good about it.... don't feel good about it at all.

Draft Kenny Pickett or ride Darnold this year into another top 5 pick.

For a first? I'd heavily consider that......

As much as I don't want to do this due to the fact that we need more draft picks not less, it would be a shock to the system to see how much better this team would be with a merely functional QB like Cousins.

I asked myself the exact same question about QBs when we traded for Darnold, I'll bet there's not many examples but you do have a longer time period as an owner.

Yeah, hopefully Burrow and the Bengals don't choke their guts out like Cam and the Panthers did in that game. Hope it's a better game to watch than 2015 was.

I've been in this mindset for a while.... but then again is any QB in this draft as good as the ones you listed? Probably not, BUT there's a chance one of them can be pretty good and pretty good will put us right in the playoff mix. I think that QB is Kenny Pickett.

Honestly happy to have an OC with NFL experience and success at it too. Don't know how much he'll be able to do but hoping for the best.

Would rather draft Pickett at 7 than get Cousins since I feel like he can be that level QB. Roster in no position to be giving up any more future assets.

Analytics say not in the first round basically, similar to how you should view drafting a DT or RB, it's just not a valuable enough position to draft that early. If you do draft someone in the first round at DT or C they better be absolutely incredible game changing type guys. So for DT someone who can both command double teams and hold their own while also possessing ability to rush the passer (Aaron Donald, maybe Vita Vea). Won't say I know exactly what that means for a C but I don't think that drafting a C at 7 is wise... but we are still so talent deficient on this roster that I'm not sure it would even bother me. But anyways, should be going for QB or LT at that draft spot.

They thought that their patchwork job on O line was going to be enough to suffice and then the performance was so bad that they had to make it no1 priority.

He's got the worst case of happy feet in the pocket I've ever seen from a Panthers QB. Consistently bails on clean pockets and makes life worse for everyone involved. Bright side is this guy will likely lead to a top 5 pick next year and Rhule's firing next season.
