  1. I also respect yours but the guy isn't anywhere close to being one of the best defensive centers in the league. He is a great shot blocker but he gets taken to school more times than not against skilled centers. He just got worked the other night by Daniel Gafford ffs. Also there's a reason his rebounding numbers suck.
  2. Yeah and I hope we are not willing to overpay just because the Pacers think he is worth more than he actually is. He's been on the block forever because other teams aren't dumb enough to give up what the Pacers want. It's a two way road. His actual value is pretty much a Player of PJ's caliber, who is trending to be about on par with Turner's current skill level and a pick since Turner is a 7footer. Pacers on the other hand are acting like the guys is a 5 time All-Star.
  3. Good lord some of you are severely overvaluing Myles Turner. The guy plays 30+ minutes a game and can't even average a double double and he's 7 feet tall. He has like 10+ games this season where he didn't even grab 5 rebounds and that is currently one of our biggest weaknesses. He's also terrible on the offensive glass.
  4. No way in hell I'm giving them Terry and a first. If we're talking Terry and a first Sabonis better be involved in that conversation.
  5. No chance I trade a player of Gordon’s caliber for Myles Turner. Even with his bloated contract. He is too important to this young team currently. If we are talking Sabonis, that’s a completely different conversation. Myles Turner is basically PJ if he was 4 to 5 inches taller. PJ is sacrificing stats to help the team currently. He’s clearly not a five and isn’t as good as Bridges who’s taken control of the starting 4 spot. PJ fits really well next to Sabonis on the Pacers and Turner is a much better fit at the 5 for the Hornets. PJ + Plumlee/Mcdaniels and a first is about all I’d be willing to give up for Turner and that’s just because decent 7footers are way more valuable than 3 and D stretch 4s currently. Ideally I would have loved to get a guy like Jarrett Allen but unfortunately we couldn’t get involved last year to help facilitate the Harden trade.
  6. All of that just screams terrible head coach with way too much power/control over a team. Rhule is literally our own Chip Kelly without the racism.
  7. I was about to say the exact same thing. If this is being asked in a serious manner I'd really have to question whether or not you're actually watching / paying attention to the Panthers. Of course there were frustrations in Rivera's first few seasons but the team actually improved each year. Rivera's teams progressed and got better as the season went on. Rhule's teams have had decent starts the first quarter of the season against weak teams and then proceed to regress to utter dog poo. Back to back seasons with terrible 5 game losing streaks after being over .500. That is not the sign of a good coach.
  8. 20 shots for Embiid - 14 FT attempts. 19 shots for Hayward - 1 FT attempt. Officials weren’t even trying to hide it.
  9. Gordon Hayward went to the free throw line one fuging time tonight on an and one call. He was getting mugged all night and it has been happening all season long. Literally 2 or 3 of those fouls get called and the Hornets win the game. Absolutely criminal.
  10. The WFT loss I believe was the nail in the coffin. With all of the Cam home coming stuff, the fact that game would have put us over .500 and back into the thick of the playoff race, Rhule fell flat on his face. I’m sure Tepper was beyond pissed. Then to follow it up by getting bitch slapped by the Dolphins essentially killing any hopes at a playoff birth all but sealed Rhule’s fate. The classic influx of players to IR and the firing of Brady is just Rhule scrambling to make excuses to try and save his ass. Unless he somehow manages to win out and make the playoffs I’m sure he will be fired come black Monday.
  11. Well money is the motivating factor in college and the pros. If the players are already getting paid proportionately to the amount of money they bring to their respected programs and the NCAA it may not be as easy to bribe a broken kid trying to help his family. College tuition keeps going up and schools say it’s because they can’t afford professors and basic necessities for a university but their athletic programs can give coaches 100 million dollar contracts. This kind of bs should be illegal.
  12. Just think about it, a bunch of middle aged millionaire men fighting over a bunch of teenage boys begging them to play football for them. Same goes for college basketball. The NCAA is disgusting. It’s not fair to the student athletes. “We’ve got someone here who will buy your mom a new car and pay her rent as long as you come play ball for us!” Just pay the fuging players already it make it fair for everyone.
  13. If said system is frustrating players to the point of mental lapses / not caring / giving up on the coaching staff it will cause those things. A lot of those things can be looked at as business decisions and sometimes it may not be worth the extra hits or potential injury for a coaching staff you want gone. The last few weeks to me looks like a team that’s already thrown the towel in on the season.
  14. I’ll roll with him as an expensive back up to finally have his cap completing the books in 2023. I don’t want Rhule and co pushing his cap hit down the road for a potential new coach to have to deal with. He was Rhule’s idea and Rhule needs to deal with the consequences of guaranteeing that 5th year.
  15. Yeah all of those options suck ass. I'll roll with Cam and Darnold for another year and go all in on offensive line.
  16. This guy broke the news of Riley to USC. I’d trust him over other random Twitter folk.
  17. Why did we not just promote him then? Is this going to be another Brandon Beane situation?
  18. We may be the only team in the league dumb enough to think we need a running back instead of an offensive line to help keep our QB from getting annihilated every game.
  19. Idk if that was supposed to be sarcasm but it’s mostly true. They did make a few signings and trades for some solid talent. (Reddick, Gilmore, Bouye, etc) Rhule spent and entire draft on defense and the only real stud to come from it was Jeremy Chinn. Horn was looking very promising but he went down early week 3. Derrick Brown is looking like he could move into bust territory based on draft position and the fact he’s being bench for what I’d assume are performance reasons. They added talent to what we already had but when the going gets tough they haven’t been able to utilize them properly.
  20. These are the signs and sounds of a captain going down with his ship.
  21. There is a ton of talent on defense. That Talent is has been able to overcome poor coaching more times than not. When the defense needs the coaches to help them make adjustments when things aren’t working it has failed them every time.
  22. Umm, have you been watching the Panthers play the past two weeks?
  23. Don’t let the NFL media machine push their narrative on you in hope of creating another poster boy. Winning is not a QB specific stat. That Patriots roster was built to win now in the offseason with a plug and play QB. All they are asking of the QB is to run the offense and not turn the ball over. This is the classic Pats Belichek model that they have used for 20 years now and allowed a guy like Matt Cassel to step in and still take the Pats to the playoffs. When Mac Jones starts carrying the team when they’re down and winning them games then we can talk. The Pats would maybe have 2 wins if Mac Jones was their QB last season. That roster was a train wreck.
  24. Yeah glad I wasn’t the only one who picked up on that. Very good troll job because no sane person could think that was serious.
